JNJ was engaged after we had terminated our engagement with another contractor following their unsatisfactory performance at the planning stage. To begin, we were very impressed with the introduction session which went through a lot of the details that we may not have thought of, the quotation provided was also transparent and set out in detail the cost for each area of work. What we found most impressive was that unlike many other contractors we came across, the JNJ team had a lot of helpful suggestions on reducing unnecessary work and materials. We would also like to commend on their daily updates and responsiveness to our questions, all of which was done via a WhatsApp group. We were promptly reminded by Jamie to order the items when required and this helped reduced the lag time to get materials and deliveries and allowed the project to be progressed smoothly without having to wait long periods due to uncoordinated schedules which we suffered on our previous building project. We find the work quality to be excellent. Any issues or changes that we required were rectified or implemented without any hassle. Sometimes, the plans were not able to be implemented due to unexpected challenges uncovered during the works, e.g. different location of water pipes, and Jamie and team were very supportive in coming up with innovative solutions.

We chose JNJ Building Services Ltd in a competitive tender to repair damage done to our bay windows. The work required the erection of new brick piers and the replacement of broken wooden shutters & windows which were operated by sash cords and weights. JNJ prepared a clear description, budget, and time plan for the work which they kept to. The quality of the brick work was excellent, and they took care to use the existing bricks where possible. The shutters were successfully replaced with new cords and weights. Overall, JNJ did a first-class job and were friendly and reliable throughout the work. They had a professional approach and worked well with the separate firm who replaced the windows and who had been recommended through JNJ.

From the first contact, Jamie was professional and made everything so straight forward and stress free. I needed the work completed to a very short deadline and this was dealt with immediately. Going through the specifications was so simple and easy, Jamie was so clear, concise, and knowledgeable. I was at work while the tasks were completed, I was confident that everything was taken care of and left in the best hands. When the work was complete, I was so incredibly impressed with the finish, it looked so much better than I had imagined, and I could not have been happier! The work was completed to such a high standard with such care and attention taken of my property. I cannot wait to plan a new extension and have JNJ Building complete the project because I know that not only will I be so impressed by the finish, they are also such a joy to work with.
