To Andrew and all the team at JAS building services. My wife and I have been trying to get a project completed on our house for a long time. No matter how many people we contacted either they would quote and not return calls afterwards or they would say they were too busy with other jobs to even have an initial look. We then decided to arrange for a visit from JAS building services. Within a week of making contact Jim came out on the day and time specified to take details and to ask questions of the type of work we were looking for. We were given a comprehensive competitive quote within the next 2 days outlining all the costs for the work required. Once we gave the go ahead for the work to be completed, we were given a date roughly 4 weeks from the date of acceptance certainly a lot faster than any other builders we had previously contacted. We were then given access to the app which allowed us to see the schedule of works and gave us the ability to have constant contact with the team at JAS. On the day specified the Scaffolding was erected and from then on, the schedule of works was followed. The two men Lewis and Sam that conducted the work where on time, polite, and happy to answer any questions we had. They spoke with neighbours and informed them of the work to be conducted and kept us up to date with the progress of the work. The schedule was followed even to the point where they work on one of the days tirelessly for 12 hours to get the job finished. Once completed the scaffolding was removed within a week of the job finishing on the specified date. The work completed looks amazing we are so happy. We can’t praise Andrew and the team at JAS Building services enough and would recommend them to any of our friends, family, and acquaintances. Its great in these days of so many companies that deliver poor customer service standards that we feel like we where provided the services of such a professional team. We engaged JAS for a complete update of the kitchen and main bathroom in our 1930s house. As part of the project, JAS also carried out various works to the exterior of the house and updated the hallway flooring, creating a more modern feel as you enter. Both our kitchen and bathroom were designed and completed to a very high standard. JAS helped us with the visualisation of the project and the selection of high standard materials, which is not something we could have done on our own. JAS created a bespoke vanity unit in the bathroom, which is a fabulous focal point. Our kitchen layout dictated a more bespoke size of the cabinets which JAS came up with and built for us, creating a lot more room without structurally altering the space. There are beautiful brass accents throughout the bathroom and the kitchen and the colour scheme in both rooms is modern yet timeless. We lived in the property for the majority of the time and we were impressed with how tidy the site was at the end of each day. If there were unforeseen issues along the way, JAS worked with us to resolve them and managed expectations throughout. Andrew is always helpful and a great person to work with, our project managers on both phases were very personable and lovely to work with as well. The whole team and every single person JAS engage works to a very high standard. From the outset JAS were responsive. We first engaged with them having a decent idea of what we wanted done, but their designer helped us best utilise the space based on their experience. The onsite team were onsite almost at the same minute of every day that they were expected to be onsite, they were very polite and easy to be around and they were always extremely thorough throughout the project. The attention to detail was second to none. Where there were unpredictable issues, JAS were quick to provide solutions and work arounds and to right any wrongs. There was also an element of scope creep from us to address other related issues and JAS were always happy to oblige and were quick to quote up and carry out the additional work. We're very satisfied with the finished project and would happily engage with JAS for future projects.

Fantastic service from JAS from the start to finish of the project. Excellent design ideas using every inch of space available. Excellent at problem solving, not just at design level but when it came to the build. Nothing was too much trouble. All the builders worked well together and took pride in their work, paying excellent attention to detail. We would 100% recommend using JAS.

We engaged JAS Building Services to replace a flat roof (and install a sky light) whilst undertaking a complete renovation of our lounge. The project was beset with a few delays and issues along the way, as most are (particularly in the current environment) but JAS were good at communicating what was happening, finding solutions, and keeping us updated on costs. All the team were professional, polite and friendly, which makes a big difference when you have people in your home day in day out. They also took time to clean up at the end of the day, and leave everything in an orderly manner, which I really appreciated. The quality of their work is great, and they really went the extra mile to ensure that everything was done to a high standard and that we were happy with the results. I'd have no hesitation recommending them to others.

JAS are a very friendly firm who care about the quality of their work. They have undertaken two major projects on our property. The first was a full rewire, new bathroom, kitchen upgrade and wooden flooring throughout the ground floor. Phase 2 was to strip and refurb the roof , decorate outside woodwork and put a new bathroom in the loft. All the work was completed to a good standard.

Brilliant service. High quality work but the thing that surprised me the most was how clean the place was after! They demolished a wall and stuck an RSJ up, yet there was no dust or rubble left over. Everything was handled extremely professionally!

Over the last nine months we have interacted with several of the JAS Teams, and it has been a pleasure to meet all the various members of the teams. Our 'project' started with repointing the stone of which our 'very old house' was built (dating back to the 14th century, and with 15th century and 18th century parts). It was a mess before but now is pristine and with all the stone cleaned too. But as things with old houses 'do' so the repointing found that a major part of the roof needed replacing over one section of the house. Enter team two of the roofers. They too did a consummate job. And then of course 'job three' when we discovered a nearly major collapse in one of the entry ways! Another masterpiece of work was finished! It was a pleasure having the various teams around. They were all people with whom it was easy to interact, swap anecdotes and watch the progress. The JAS managers came round on a regular basis and checked everything was going according to plan. Thank you JAS for the great work and we will definitely use you again when (not if) the need arises!

JAS Building Service recently fitted our new kitchen. It was a tremendous upheaval but we knew that we were in safe hands right from the start. The quality of workmanship was excellent with complete attention to detail. Any issues that arose were discussed with us and appropriate solutions found. Everything was left tidy at the end of each day and all of the resulting rubbish was removed. All of the workmen were extremely courteous and it was a pleasure getting to know many of them. As you would expect there were minor issues that needed to be addressed once the job was completed and JAS were very happy to come back and sort out whatever was required.
