From our very first meeting with Wade we knew straight away that Investwell were the team for us! A huge thank you to Wade, Melissa and the entire Investwell group, for making our dream cottage come to life. They were with us every step of the way, and always in constant contact to ensure we were happy with the progress. Renovation of any kind can be stressful, however we always felt we were in good hands.

Mel, Wade and everyone associated with Investwell are amazing! They built our dream home thoroughly and withing the specified time frame. We were so appreciative of Mel and Wade being able to help us with the whole process and facilitate the changes that needed to be made. Investwell responded to our questions quickly and were honest with everything. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our new house!

We have been in our newly renovated home for 3 months now and we are very happy with the end result. From the initial contact with Wade and Melissa of Investwell Group we felt comfortable they were listening to us. We had previously had an experience with another company not listening so it was great to find a builder we could work with. We worked through all our idea/ needs we had. Wade offered some helpful and practical suggestions. In the end we decided a second storey addition was the best option to meet our needs. It was a large project that was coordinated smoothly by Melissa. Their team of tradies and subcontractors were good to work with. Our preChristmas deadline was met. Effective communication and practical design ideas from Melissa whilst patiently guiding me through the initial quote phase meant our budget was adhered to with minimal variations. They are a great team to work with and have delivered us our beautifully renovated home.

Wade was responsive for a quote, accommodating in the scope to be undertaken, listens to your requirements providing sound advice, and was competitively priced. The renovation project was completed on budget against original quoted works with some agreed variations for additional scope, in a timely manner, and to a good quality. A professional approach using experienced trades on the project. Melissa was helpful and organised in coordinating the fitout for the renovation. We'd been thinking about renovating for a number of years, but finally bit the bullet in 2016 and started looking for builders and quotes. This was our first major renovation, having had only a few minor projects (new driveway, electrical, solar etc.) completed beforehand. What we wanted: new bathroom upstairs; demolish a store room under the back deck; replace the deck and back stairs; new slab; new study, bathroom and storerooms downstairs; new walk-in pantry for the existing kitchen; new exterior paint (plus the new bits). We initially tried looking around the neighbourhood, trying to find builder signs on builds that looked like what we had planned. This got us a few leads, but when they fell through we tried hi pages. hi pages gave us a few contacts, one of which was Wade Woodcroft's Investwell. Investwell's quote was towards the upper range of the quotes we received. What won them the job (after a lot of questions and a lot of sleepless nights) was Wade's calm, professional, practical approach. His quote was detailed enough for us to see what we were getting (and what we weren't) without being War and Peace, and during negotiations he listened and made helpful suggestions. The build started more or less on time (some of the delay was our fault), but didn't stick to the original schedule, with completion a few weeks after what was initially planned. In hindsight, and having spoken to a few more people who've renovated, the delays were no more than normal, and almost always accompanied by an explanation from Wade. His team were skilled, professional, polite, worked damn hard and had a great sense of humour. The quality of the work was very good, except for the painting. It took a lot of effort and rework to get it to the standard we wanted. Don't let this put you off though. Wade made absolutely 100% sure we were happy and got what we wanted, and has since changed painters. I'm mentioning it here only for completeness. Oh, and also for completeness - we now have a Chook Palace. This probably says a lot about Wade - having figured out how important our feather friends are to us, he built us a fantastic new chook house and enclosed run for cost (i.e. no labour). It's the thought as much as the cost that impresses us. The build was completed within budget - no surprises, no variations. The follow up for minor defects has been prompt and effective. Are we happy with the end result? Yes we are. Would we hire Investwell again? Yes we would, and perhaps obviously, we recommend them.

I first spoke with Melissa on the phone and she arranged for Wade to come and meet with me and my partner on site the following day. Meeting Wade we immediately felt at ease with our home renovation. Wade went through the plans with us and even though we had changes to be made, Wade made it seem like it was "too easy"! Our building project was large. It was a full raise, restump, build in under and reconfigure upstairs. While it was a long adventure, Wade made sure he kept in contact with us very regularly both via phone, email and through an app. Photos, and unforeseen problems (boards eaten our by whiteants that no one could know about until the walls and floor tiles came off) that come up along the way, were easily resolved with options of how to fix provided. A professional group of builders and tradies who were respectful of our home and us as clients. We would hire Investwell Group for our next reno without any hesitation.

Investwell Group was recommended to me by my daughter, as they were renovating the home of her close friend, and she was most impressed with their work. I met Wade and Melissa in late February 2014 when they invited me to dinner at their home to discuss my requirements for renovation. I own a tri-level townhouse in Bowen Hills. I wanted it completely renovated internally, with two new stacker doors on the living area level and the courtyard completely decked. I had to be able to move into my home during Easter break 2014, as I had approved annual leave from work. This gave Wade only five weeks to strip my house internally and have it up to a standard whereby I could move in, and maintain a work/life balance. This was achieved. I went to work every day and came home to the surprise of a new area completed. The entire process was made easier for me due to Wade and Mel assisting with all areas of design, colour and general advice regarding what are eye-catching additions to my home. Mel met me one day at the Tile Display shop to assist with my choices. Wade is familiar with abiding by Body Corp. regulations and processes. All the workmen were friendly and polite in my presence. I never felt uncomfortable or in the way. Wade and Mel answered every enquiry I had, with speed. Even on weekends! When a chip was noticed in the powder-room vanity, Wade had it replaced without fuss. Wade and Mel, I will be eternally grateful to you for not only my home, but also the sensitivity, professionalism and knowledge you have shown me throughout the entire journey.

Wade and the Investwell team did a great job on my build-in-under project. My renovation transformed three bedrooms one bath into six bedrooms three bathrooms. Wade listened to all of my requirements and found ways to make what I wanted happen. Wade and the Investwell team were easy to deal with and made a major renovation happen pretty much on time. I would use Investwell again.

We hired Investwell Group to complete a full internal renovation of our home. This included removing almost all the internal walls and redesign of the internal space. We found both the builder and subcontractors great to work with. The construction was completed in a fast time and to the highest of standards, especially as it was right before Christmas. We were kept informed throughout the building process and trusted the advice given to us by our builder Wade. We would highly recommend anyone looking at renovating hiring Investwell Group.

Investwell were fantastic to work with. It was a big renovation and the first we have ever done. They guided us through the whole process expertly and patiently. We have been living in our renovated home now for just over a year and couldn't be happier.

Investwell completed a major renovation and extension of our 110 year old workers cottage, turning it from borderline uninhabitable to an exceptionally stylish, functional and warm family home. After speaking with ten builders, and meeting and getting quotes from four, it was clear to me that Wade and his team were head and shoulders above the rest, with the added bonus of not presenting a hugely inflated budget. The things I found most remarkable about Investwell were: - their excellent communication - they were available to answer any question at almost all hours, and never hid behind jargon or bravado. - their ability to problem solve- there were some big surprises during our renovation and each time Wade came to us with thoughtful and cost-effective options. - they really know what they are doing and give great design advice- the aspect of our house means it could become dark but Wade and his team made some clever design suggestions to address this. - their commitment- they did what they said and said what they did, they turned up early and left late, and worked weekends to keep their word.
