We contracted Home Republic to build a single storey extension and renovate 2 bathrooms. We cannot praise HR enough. From start to finish they and all their craftsmen conducted themselves with honesty, integrity and professionalism. Not to mention the quality of their work, which is no less than outstanding. As soon as I met Alex, I knew that I could work well with him. Our site manager Armen, made the whole build process easy, seamless and stress-free. Armen was organized, methodical and budget conscious throughout. He was on site daily and available to contact at all times thus alleviating any concerns and dealing with issues immediately. Armen’s hard work and experience was pivotal in the success of our build. As we were still living on site, every effort was made to respect our privacy and keep any inconveniences to a minimum. All the craftsmen on site were absolutely lovely and were a pleasure to have. We are now planning further work and undoubtedly, we will be calling on Home Republic to carry out the next phase. We recently completed ground floor back and side extension, and internal alterations with Home Republic. The team was very professional throughout the process. We carried out a conversion / refurbishment project with Home Republic and have been extremely impressed. Cannot recommend Home Republic enough. We aren’t local to London and were very nervous as it was our first extension and have heard about some terrible builder horror stories. We were also let down countless times by other builders. We feel very lucky to have stumbled across Home Republic who put us as ease and were nothing but honest from the very start. We recently completed a double-storey extension project on our home, with Home Republic as our chosen builder. Everyone you speak to before starting a house renovation project tells you that ALL builders are the same - they never complete on time, overcharge you (with bills going up in multiples of the original quote), don't do a good job and certainly do not prioritize you towards the end of project. Alex and the team worked with me to build a house from scratch in Wimbledon, the team were hard workign , clean , personable and did an amazing job . The project was seamless from Drains , Build , Electrics and Wardrobes to name a few . I cannot recommend these guys highly enough! Outstanding work! We had the team do several things in our house - paint multiple rooms, redo our downstairs toilet, uninstall and install 15 doors as well as some smaller jobs. The quality of the work was brilliant. I’ve now worked with Home Republic for well over a year on an extensive renovation of our 1930s terrace. We’ve extended up and out, replaced almost everything, and added in some features you wouldn’t necessarily call standard. The team have worked so hard to deliver what I wanted and have delivered, even through the struggles of the last year. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We used Home Republic in 2020 for a full renovation of our semi-detached house. We had our house fully re-done by Alex and the team and we added a loft extension and a rear extensions. We had our old kitchen knocked down and had a large new kitchen, bathroom and utility built, including a very extensive patio and landscaping around them. The project lasted around 6 months. Wow! What can I say! Home Republic were fabulous all along, from inception to conclusion. Their management, handling and oversight of the project was excellent. Their workforce varied in number depending on the need for each stage of the project. All the staff, from the labourers to the seniors were all very friendly, patient, respectful and professional at all time. They have very experienced and knowledgeable staff, who had lots of helpful ideas and suggestions when it came for us to make quite a lot of decisions along the way. They are not afraid to redo some of the work (at their own expense) if they are not completely happy with it. Regular fortnightly meetings were held between the clients, the architects and Home Republic management to keep track of progress and discuss/resolve any issues. We are extremely happy with the result - it feels like a 5-star hotel. The pictures speak for themselves (look for Green Lane under projects). We would highly recommend Home Republic for your next project - you will not be disappointed!

1st Class builders, these guys handled our build with skill and efficiency, from the very start to the end of the job and even after they were polite, clean and helpful. My experience of builders was not that good, but these guys have restored my faith. Well done guys and thanks very much.

This was a big job - renovating a victorian house -absolutely everything needed overhauling. There were major structural changes and at one point the house was almost a shell. Now we are living in a beautiful home that is the envy of our friends. When I met Alex from Home Republic the thing I liked most about him and his team was their calm demeanour and attitude that anything was possible. Financially, everything was set out very clearly and I always knew what the cost was; any extra additions had to be approved, and these were also clearly costed. If there was something I did not agree with or felt could be improved upon, I felt able to bring it up comfortably and there was always room for discussion. The project manager I was assigned, Oleh, was something of a superstar. He is a perfectionist. I'll admit, I'm particular, so there were sometimes small niggles on both sides, especially with a job this big. That said, we were always able to work things out very satisfactorily. The finishing and attention to detail were superb, and the electrical and gas plan fittings, which were massive, have been completed to the highest standards. We ended up adding on the front drive and a cabin at the back of the house. The other thing I would say is that the project was completed in good time. I have had friends whose building work seems to go on and on, while ours was completed between February and July during the pandemic. I have and will continue to highly recommend Home Republic.

Alex and his team helped us reconfigure the downstairs of our Victorian semi, creating an open-plan kitchen/diner/play area, adding a new utility and downstairs toilet, installing new flooring and underfloor heating throughout the downstairs and building an entirely new stepped patio outside. They also replastered and redecorated our lathe and plaster stairwell. If lockdown hadn't happened in the middle of the work, they would have finished ahead of schedule. They were thorough, fastidious and carried out the work to a high standard.

We engaged Home Republic to renovate our house in West London. Our consultant architects arranged for various companies to tender for the work. Home Republic won the contract and were outstanding in completing the renovation on time and to a very high standard. This was a 12 week project to completely renovate the house, floor to roof. They were courteous, efficient, they had excellent ideas and we were left with the impression that they were renovating our property as if it were their own. Before we chose our builders, we interviewed five companies, had them quote based on a detailed schedule of work and visited ongoing and finished building sites for each. Home Republic was the most competitive, had the cleanest sites and the happiest home owners. I am pleased to say that we are now part of the (very) happy home owners.
