This company was the only company that would give us an estimate for our project which was not a huge project but needed to be done. We had had several different companies come out to give us an estimate but then they never got back with us. Obviously they didn't want the business. Billy was great to work with and they did an excellent job. I would recommend them to anyone.

We originally used Fentress on a second opinion for the restoration of our house after a fire. Immediately upon meeting Amber and her team, we knew that they were who we wanted working on our house! They were very organized, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. Any issues or questions we had were immediately addressed. Amber and her team were just wonderful to work with, and it made us feel at ease knowing they were in charge and watching over our house especially at times when we were not able to. They took care of details we never thought of and just made sure the job was done right and we were happy. You hear such horror stories about working with contractors, but working with Fentress was absolutely wonderful and such a positive experience! We would recommend them to anyone and everyone we know!

Prompt and professional. On budget and on time. Very pleased with kitchen remodel. Excellent craftsmanship. The workers were all considerate and polite. Would recommend Fentress for any renovation or remodel.

Second large project Fentress has done on our home in the past several years. We like straightforward options from contractors; not just a spin on what we want to hear. They endeavor to provide honest information, and make an effort to perform quality work and address concerns promptly.

We could not say enough positive things about Fentress Builders! They took the time to really listen and to problem solve when the unexpected challenges would arise. The whole crew was respectful, experienced, and cleaned up everyday. They were very sensitive to the fact that we were living in the home thru a very major renovation. There were know surprises in the budget as we met on a weekly basis to discuss future activities.

Fentress was 'recommended' by my insurance company to make repairs after an under the kitcen counter hot water heater leaked causing damage to mt floor and the kitchen cabinets. Fentress was quick to come to and assess the situation. The written estimate was promised in 3-4 days...I received it in 14 days. I was told to call if I had any questions. I did have questions so I called and left a VM message with those questions. A full week later I came home to a message on my answering machine saying "I see you called, did you talk to your insrance company?" None of my questions were answered. I called back and again got VM. Let another message stating "no" because I have questions. Another full week passes before I get a return call. This time I am home and get to speak to the man personally. All he cared about was if his estimate was approved by my insurance company. When I explained that I'd been leaving messages with questions he acted dumbfounded. I determined I definitely would not be using this company after his response to my question about pricing on a certain item (I'd collected information on the actual current cost of the exact item which my insurance company accepted). He said the price he had was SO low because that was what the computer 'plugged in' for this month. When I said I had full replacement cost he told me he couldn't do anything about it...the computer said...blah, blah, blah. At that point I told him if I needed their services I would contact them.

They replaced damaged roof and gutters for me. They had a good price and did the job in 2 days. Good follow up after completion.
