For almost 40 years, Duff Builders has served our local community as a premier home building and remodeling company, specializing in new home construction, additions and renovations. As part of our commitment to providing you with the services you need, Duff Builders offers in-house design or thorough review of your existing plans. We value your wishes and privacy as a homeowner, and offer flexibility in scheduling and accommodating special requests. When Duff Builders contracts to build or remodel a home, you are getting experience that dates back to when Joe Duff was five years old. His father was a builder and allowed young Joe to help pound nails into drywall, marking x’s where the nails should go. His father always took the time to work along with Joe. He began his own business in his home in Holtwood in 1979. Within the year, he had built his first house. In 1991, the volume of business made it necessary to relocate to the Willow Street area. Looking back, Joe is proud of how much his company has grown into a successful business. Joe attributes much of his success to having a team of expert craftsmen and top-notch office staff. Joining the company several years ago were both his daughter, Laura Schroeder, and son, Joe Duff IV. All three know the importance of family in business and strive to apply those family values to every meeting with a customer.

A family company that wouldn’t rest until the job was completed to our satisfaction. The previous owners of our house completed a DYI fireplace remodel that was an eyesore. The bump out was faced with floor tile and a one piece cutout mantel. Duff builders came in and proposed refacing the bump out with natural hand placed stone to accent the room and more effectively feature our coal stove along with a flagstone hearth. They added two ceiling lights to brighten the room. They don’t miss the details. A flexible pipe was even run through the wall to hide the TV wires that previously ran down the side of the mantle. They had a difficult task retrofitting the proposed resolution into an area because of some limitations found during demo. The project was completed with an old barn beam sized out for a mantel. Joe brought several different styles of found wood so that we could select the perfect accent for the stone work. All of the team members that worked on the project were friendly and professional. Especially sensitive to the fact that we would be home with a 9 month old during much of the work, they didn’t bat an eye. I would recommend them for any project as they are friendly, fair and professional.

Could not be more pleased with our engagement with the Duff Builder family, and family it is. Our large-scale home renovation made our house into a beautiful new home, courtesy of Joe and the crew. We exceeded budget because we liked what they were doing so much we wanted to invest more into the project. You could not find a more flexible, supportive, easy to work with crew who do excellent work and find ways to say 'yes we can' instead of 'no we can't'. Highly recommend!

Duff Builders rebuilt our home after it was destroyed by fire in 1994. We've had an ongoing relationship with them ever since! Any improvement, any update - Duff Builders is our only call. In fact, we had our deck and porch railings updated this summer and Joe handled that for us. His work is excellent. His contractors are pros - they know what they're doing and all work was done on time and within budget. My wife and I highly recommend Joe Duff!

We had our kitchen remodeled and couldn’t be happier with the finished product! Our project manager worked closely with us to organize the job, take the lead on the work to be done, and communicating with us. Laura at the office was wonderful to keep us on track with picking out finishes and helped provide answers and advice. We were very happy with 99% of the subcontractors provided by Duff for our project. The few concerns we did have were addressed. Anything that needed to be fixed, was fixed. I would highly recommend Duff Builders and I would love to work with them again!

We are thrilled with our addition and renovation done by Duff Builders on our home We added an in-laws apartment and renovated our small 1950's kitchen into a spacious and beautiful room for our family to cook and enjoy being together. Joe Duff and his staff spent time with us designing an affordable space that gives our in-laws their privacy with the opportunity to connect over meals in a new dining area and kitchen. Laura Duff provided creative ideas in choosing flooring, tile and cabinetry. Our project manager was respectful and friendly, and was on site daily to oversee the work being done. We confidently recommend Duff Builders!

We had some flood damage and needed to get our kitchen remodeled. I met with Duff Builders and was immediately impressed by their down to earth approach and professional recommendations. I would recommend them to anyone because they helped me with every aspect of the project and were adamant the job was done right. Duff is great, I would trust them with any project. They're the best, hands down.

My wife and I met with the various people from Duff Builders after our architect had given us our drawing. We asked Duff for a quotation on the building and any observations that might improve the project. The bid on the building was very thorough and we sat down and went over it line by line with Duff. The contractors and project manager were very pleasant and professional in all aspects of the building. The project came in on budget and was completed in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the results. If we were to build again, we would seek out Duff to do our work. We highly recommend Duff Builder. Terry and Angie Robinson

Comentado: Love the siding. Can you tell me the brand and color?The green siding is Certainteed Mainstreet, Double 5" in Cypress. The brown shakes are Certainteed Cedar Impressions in Mountain Cedar. Hope that helps!
