We have been so blessed to work with such an amazing owner and his company. We are nearing our first full year of owning our new construction custom built home and we couldn’t be happier. While my neighbors who went with different builders continue to bemoan how unreliable and subversive their builders are, Andy (Cherryridge Construction foreman) continues to be attentive and kind with/about any issues we’ve had in and out of the home, issues that simply come along with new builds. Chris, the owner, is genuine, and truly cares about each customer. He takes pride in what he builds and stands by his product. Unlike other builders we’ve dealt with in the past, Chris and his team continue to treat us with the same kindness, dignity, and respect that they did when we first sat at the negotiating table nearly a year ago. Their customer service is unparalleled. ❤️

My wife and I were recommended to Cherry Ridge Construction from a mutual friend. We were told they were one of the best home builders in the Council Bluffs area and Chris has been building houses for a long time. We signed our contract 12/21/17 and moved in 11/16/18. Sure building a home can be stressful and of course situations arise that are uncontrollable we knew this going into it. We knew our home wasn’t the only project they had going nor did we think our home should take precedence over someone else’s. We are extremely happy with our home and didn’t want to rush these guys. Chris, Aaron, Andy and the team took a spec home that we loved and customized it into a beautiful custom home. Everyone worked hard and paid attention to detail and if there was a problem they took care of it. We have been in our home 6 months and when we come home at night Cherry Ridge Construction made our dream a reality. Our kids love their new home, memories are being made, we gained new friendships and the home building experience was worth it. We hired Cherry Ridge Construction to oversee the construction of 3 spec homes over the period of 2 years. Chris and his team were very professional and thorough, paying attention to every detail to make sure the projects were done correctly. In each case, Chris sent the neighbors close to the construction a letter informing them that there would be construction activity in the area and encouraged anyone with concerns to call him directly. Chris and the Cherry Ridge team worked tirelessly to provide us with the absolute best result. They were easy to work with, communicated well and we were thrilled with the results. Cherry Ridge was hired to return my lake home to its prior condition and make improvements to and complete upgrade/remodel my basement after 44000 gallons of water entered the house from a busted water line. They performed wall replacement/removal, bath remodels, painting, carpeting, plumbing, installed custom cabinets, tile, wood floor installation, electrical and about everything else needed after the rooms were striped to the subfloor and studs. I could not be happier with the work they performed. Knowing it was a lake house and my desire to have it back to normal for summer, the Cherry Ridge team worked hard to get it done, completing ahead of schedule and on budget. The workers and owner were a pleasure to work with, they were thorough, professional and courteous.

Barrett Contracting is a poured foundation contractor who has been in business since 1966 for the past 4 years we have worked for cherry ridge construction . They have been a pleasure to work with. They are very organized and easy to work for. Questions and or concerns are dealt with immediately. always choosing the best solutions to problems even if its not the easiest. They have a its better to do it the right way now then have a problem latter attitude

Cherry Ridge built a custom home for us in 2017. The entire Cherry Ridge staff were so professional thru the entire process. Chris and Aaron have a wealth of experience and offered great input and ideas during the planning piece. Cherry Ridge did not miss a single milestone or commitment. The difference between a good home and an outstanding home is attention to detail, Cherry Ridge's focus and discipline about detail was remarkable; obviously experience and good sub-contractor relationships contribute a lot toward that end. We now live in a home that exceeds our expectations, Cherry Ridge helped make that picture in our heads a reality. Chris and Aaron have great personalities and were pleasant to work with. Their process is very transparent and open book, there were no surprises. Challenges were met head on and easily solved. There is nothing bad to report here. We definitely recommend Cherry Ridge to build your next home.

We hired Chris to build our custom home. I will start out saying, I had talked to multiple people who had homes built for them from different builders, I've never heard from anyone that everything went perfectly without any complaints. We, as a home buyer, expect or want things done that aren't always attainable. With that being said, Chris met or exceeded our expectations. He built us our dream home and gave us things in our home that we didn't know we would be able to get. Some of the best features of our home were things that he suggested or things I had described but Chris delivered on. We love our home and could not be more grateful for what Chris has done for us. That's the builder part of this review, now for the personal. Chris is a GREAT person!!! 2 1/2 years after living in our home, I started to finish my basement myself and had a few questions, I texted Chris for some advice. He called me back and then stopped by a few days later. We spent almost an hour discussing some ideas and then just catching up on each others lives. How many builders would take that much time out of there day, for free, to spend time with no possible job for them??? Chris is a honorable man!!! He truly does what he can to deliver what you want. Not everything will be possible, but it's not for lack of effort on his part. If you are looking for a builder, look no further. You will not be disappointed when you choose Chris. Also, I'd feel terrible if I didn't give a shoot out to Aaron, Chris's right hand man. We met with him a lot over the project and he is just as committed as Chris. We truly consider Chris and Aaron a part of this family. I'd choose them over anyone....EVERYTIME!!!!

Cherry Ridge Construction built my custom home and my family and I have enjoyed every square inch of space! We get compliments often on the design, layout and finish quality. Chris and his team were very professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process and afterwards!

Cherry Ridge Construction has made buying a home worry free. They go out of the way to ensure their customers are cared for. We recently had an issue come up and they were quick to say, "We'll take care of that." We have been in our home for 3 years and they still went out of their way to address the concern.
