Company President Bob Kimball has been in the building trade since 1995. Kimball took two years of vocational building class while spending all spare time in the wood shop making furniture. He started Bob Kimball Building & Remodeling in 1997 as sole proprietorship and became a Maine corporation in 2003. Our Goal is to efficiently produce a quality product that shows more value than what has been invested. We have the capabilities to create custom cabinetry, built in furniture, book cases, shelving and staircases. We can also replicate trim details, millwork, stair newels and balusters. We can produce the materials and hardware to help design a lasting product with the style you want. The little things like your Grandmothers cutting board installed to pull out under the countertop or the old porch glass your children looked through while waiting for the bus revived in a new built in hutch. In our shop we will build custom ideas like these that you cannot get from commercial cabinet companies. These special touches come from years of experience renovating homes for people who share a love of history, and memories. We feel that maintaining your homes history will make your home historic.
