Baddock Building

Mark, Amanda and their team worked with us this year to renovate our house. They built us a first floor addition and gutted and rebuilt our ground level including a new kitchen and 3 new bathrooms. The work was completed under time and on budget. Mark and Amanda were great to work with and made the process so much easier than it could have been, answering all our questions without ever making us feel stupid. They provided recommendations whenever we were stuck on a decision and even saved us when we didn’t like the paint colour we picked for our house (after one coat) and wanted to change it! The whole Baddock Building Team were polite and friendly, so much so that when we asked my neighbours if the build had been annoying for them (as we moved out for the renovation period) they said that it was great having them around. They are professional and focused on quality and we are very happy we found them!

Mark and the team at Baddock Building helped us with a major renovation of our 1960s home. This involved opening up our living space, renovating two bathrooms, installing a new kitchen and laundry and construction of a new carport. The job was completed on time and on budget. Mark and Amanda kept us updated throughout the whole project and were a pleasure to work with. As first time renovators they made the process easy and didn’t make us feel like we were asking stupid questions (although I’m sure we were)! We were also really impressed with all the trades that we came across as part of the project. Their professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. We used Baddock Building on an en-suite renovation and creation of a walk in wardrobe. Mark was the first builder to confidently agree the work could be done the way we planned. Mark and Amanda were professional, upfront and provided sound advice for our project. Mark and all the tradies used were polite, professional and communicated well with us along the way. We can’t recommend Baddock Building highly enough. From the initial quote right through to completion of our second storey renovation and deck, Mark and Amanda were exceptional, offering great advice, excellent quality work, and even allowed us to stay on the existing level throughout the build, saving us from expensive alternative accommodation; plus they got us in to our new storey before Christmas! We put in a second story, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a kitchenette and a lounge, so a big, complex job. There are not enough superlatives to rate Baddock Building, I cannot fault them in any way. From start to finish Mark and Amanda Baddock are top professionals, organised and in control of every aspect of our project. Mark is meticulous with the finest details and sees every aspect of the project to its conclusion, Amanda in the backroom makes sure the coordination happens as it should. His team follows his lead and the contractors he uses (plumbers etc.) operate in the same vain. Communication on a project of this size is key, and Mark and Amanda ensured we were kept in the loop with all stages. And finally, every person who came on site were friendly to deal with, which is a credit to Mark and Amanda. If you want work done right, you can't do better than Baddock Building.

Mark, Amanda and the Baddock Building team were absolutely fantastic with every aspect of our recent renovation. From the moment they turned up to quote, to the moment they put the finishing touches on the build they were so professional and easy to deal with. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of work they delivered and the seamless way that they dealt with all of the challenges of our 1950's house. The team were always on time, were spotless in their daily clean up and were very polite and respectful with all aspects of our house (including the 2 kids and the dog). Mark and Amanda were in constant communication with us regarding deliveries, trades and invoicing and made our lives so much easier by not having to worry about a thing. We have already had so many comments about how amazing the outdoor space looks and haven't stopped using it since its completion. From start to finish our renovations with Baddock building went smoothly. Mark and Amanda and their team consulted with us on all the details big and small along the way and were able to give us both practical and design related advice helping us get the most out of our spaces. The team were always friendly, respectful and cleaned up after themselves- a big deal when your living in the space being renovated with two small kids. We recently worked with Baddock Building on our renovation in Allambie Heights. Mark helped us to engage a structural engineer in order to remove three walls and open up our kitchen, living and dining area. They also removed our kitchen, built new stairs for us and arranged new gyprock, trim and cornicing. From the moment we met Mark we knew we’d found someone who cared deeply about achieving great results for his clients, was incredibly professional and that we could trust fully. Working with Mark and Amanda was incredibly smooth and a real pleasure. They offered clear communication, managed a range of trades (e.g. asbestos removal) for us, and their team was a pleasure to have around the house. We recently engaged Baddock Building to complete an upstairs addition and full renovation of our house with only a few originals walls remaining. Baddock building surpassed all expectations from beginning to end. There was no stress from our end. It honestly was an absolute pleasure having our project completed. We can’t praise Mark , Amanda and the whole of the Baddock Building team ( Marks team are also great guys!) enough for making the whole project as smooth as possible.
