The Winnett Group is a small boutique style brokerage in Lakeway, Texas in the hill country just outside of Austin. The company's founder has been actively working in real estate in the area for over 40 years. We specialize in land, new construction and resale homes ranging in price from $400,000 to over $4,000,000 but have worked well outside of that range. The area we cover encompasses Austin and the surrounding areas and includes waterfront and golf course properties.
I began my real estate career in my hometown of Houston, Texas in 2003 and moved to Austin, Texas in 2006. I have always loved discovering the driving factors behind the connections people feel to the places they call or desire to call home. I have an appreciation for well-designed homes, communities with personality and the people who create and live in them.
Real estate has been a driving force in my life that has resulted in a rewarding career. I have sold residence and land throughout Central Texas and the Austin area and obtained specialized real estate designations including the Certified Luxury Marketing Specialist, Certified Negotiations Expert and I am a Member of The Million Dollar Guild.
I am grateful to have had the opportunity to serve many causes I believe in and have been fortunate to work with some amazing people. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for The Standish Foundation for Child and Family Centered Healthcare.
In 2013 I created a website that was recognized by Inman News as an Innovator of the Year nominee in 2015 along 11 other websites including Redfin and Zillow.
I am a wife and mom to two amazing people! We enjoy traveling and spending quality time on the lake with friends when we aren't on the go.

Megan may be the most patient, professional person I have ever worked with. Throughout my home buying experience (and it was a LONG one), at no point did I feel pressured to do something I didn't want to do. Despite how exceedingly picky I was, and this being my first house purchase, I ended up with just the type of home I was looking for. Even after I closed on the house, she continued to help by referring me to excellent contractors who could fix things around the house.
I highly recommend Megan as a agent for anyone looking to buy or sell in the greater Austin area, regardless of what type of home it is.

We were native Californians buying a home in Austin. Let me first say that we knew next to nothing about Texas nor did we know a soul there. Megan sold our home in 7 days! It had been on the market for 9 months with NO offers with another real estate agent.
When we listed the home with The Winnett Group, Megan took beautiful pictures and made an excellent online virtual tour and professional brochures. She handled all showings and provided feedback within 6 hours. Her attention to detail made the sales process run much more smoothly. Megan does what she says she will do and often exceeds that. We highly recommend Megan.
