Driveway Contractor LLC

I've been meaning to write this review for some time now. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Robert from Driveway Contractor. I've had quite a bit of experience dealing with various contractors from all different trades, having finished building a house last year. As a general rule, I usually get three bids for every project before making a decision. This time, Robert happened to be the first person I made an appointment with. He was thorough, took his time, and showed me all different options. By the end of the meeting, I simply thought "Well, this is the guy" and didn't bother with anybody else. Over the next few weeks, after going through a couple of iterations of what was possible, we decided on what we were going to do and work started quickly. Since I don't have a creative bone in my body, I relied very much on his vision and I can say that the results were fantastic. Robert ended up installing a retaining wall, paver driveway and front walkway. He embedded lights into the edges and the retaining wall and everything looks awesome. It's a pleasure to arrive home from work as the sun is setting seeing everything lit up so brilliantly. He continued on with leveling a nice flat surface for our kids' playground and installing artificial turf. My kids (ages 3 and 6) have a blast and you can often find them playing barefoot on it. Finally, Robert completed a backyard walkway and did some general landscaping. Since I know nothing about plants, Robert offered to pick them out and then delivered and planted them. In every aspect of the job, I never felt like he was rushing to get done and he took his time to make sure everything was done properly. He owns and maintains his own heavy equipment machinery which was definitely a plus and should tell you that he is serious about his job. However, quality of his work aside, I just want to point out that Robert is simply just a likable guy and I thoroughly enjoyed my conversations with him as much as I enjoyed seeing his work come to fruition. There's still more work that I'll probably do over the next few years and he'll definitely be the first guy I call. I strongly recommend you do the same if you're looking for similar work to be done in a timely and professional matter. I'm attaching some photos of when the work was in progress. Unfortunately, the brutal summer has killed off a bit of my grass and doesn't really do it any justice but I'm looking forward to having that fixed hopefully this fall.

Robert and his team did an amazing job for us. They repaired and beautified our aging front steps, did three amazing paver landings, a wonderful new asphalt driveway, and fixed a ton of broken cracked and dangerous sidewalks. The quality of their work is excellent at a fair price. Robert and all of his employees are courteous and professional at all times. I can't recommend "Driveway Contractor LLC" highly enough! I know we will hire them again for our next project.

Robert and his professional crew did another awesome job with replacement of an existing, but very decrepit and crumbling, retaining wall. This was not the first time we retained him to do a job for us. Approximately five years ago, Robert and his crew installed a beautiful paver driveway, patio, and walkway for us. It still looks as incredible today as it did when it was originally done! We very highly recommend Driveway Contractor for any project you may have. Robert is an extremely knowledgeable, reliable, conscientious, and honest contractor with a very hardworking, competent crew that truly know their trade and take great pride in their work.

This is the 2nd project that Robert has completed for us (our driveway in fall '19 was first) and we are absolutely thrilled with the work Robert and his "crew" recently completed in our yard. It's always been a "problem area" (water drainage - actually lack of drainage) compounded with bad soil (tried sod twice with no success) so when we decided to add a pool but knew the surrounding area would be a major issue we called on Robert for his expertise and WOW what a transformation! He understood my "vision" (not always easy as my husband would say) listened and explained, in detail, what he could do but also what he could not do (based on our yard dynamics and budget). When I say he listened honestly he really, really does listen and went out of his way to make my/our vision a reality. Not only that his crew is second to none; they're great, great guys who worked extremely hard for hours on end! Would absolutely recommend Robert and Driveway Contractor LLC to all!

Driveway Contractors recently redid our driveway, retaining wall and sidewalk. I can not speak highly enough about the team and the work done. The team's professionalism and hard work should be modeled after. The team (especially Robert) was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. Robert's eye for design and perfection is impressive. The quality of work done can not be compared too. Thank you!

Robert Sciacca was very helpful in helping us choose the right pavers, design of project, the right fire pit to complement the pavers. His workers were very thorough from the demolition of original wood decking to completion of job. Robert checks in frequently with the progress of project and made several suggestions which we were very happy of the outcome. The cost of the project was very much reasonable and we’re sure to contract him again for any future projects. This is the second time we’ve hired him to do paving for us. My wife and I are very pleased with his work and are excited to use the patio.

I wish I could post my pictures here. He was hired to do my driveway with an apron and level my property to avoid water build up. I contacted him 10 months after the job was completed to let him know that all the pavers in my apron were coming up and weeds were coming through. He never called back, I sent him an email and he also never got back to me. I had to contact another contracted only to tell me that the job was not done properly. In addition, my property is still like a little lake. After serval thousand dollars, I would use someone else. He is not responsible.

Robert the owner did a fantastic job designing our front of house . He did a walkway with pavers from 2 driveways . New steps and walkway to from front steps to street with pavers. The driveway was widened and paved. Also designed a patio in front. With pavers .Mulched and planted some trees and flowers . It was a beautiful makeover.

Robert was very courteous and reliable. He came on time and promised when the job would be completed. His crew was top notch and professional. Turned my 35 year old driveway into a work of art. Before he left he made sure everything was clean and if I was satisfied. I can never say enough about this company. Ernie

Robert Sciacca is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is a true professional and very friendly and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable working with him. He gave me an honest estimate and walked me through the entire process of what would be done ( I had my front steps re-done, and driveway re-paved). Robert always kept me in the loop every step of the way and was always happy to answer any questions I had. His workers were always on time, professional and worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Robert and his company.

Robert and his crew removed 3 layers of an asphalt driveway, regraded and installed a new asphalt driveway. They were very efficient and neat, removing all debris and clean up was pristine. The work was precise and high quality and completed from start to finish well within a workday. We’ve gotten several complements from neighbors and would not hesitate to recommend them.
