We are a married couple who recently finished our first collaborative design build project. The White Dove Rockotel, boutique rock and roll suites, located in Woodstock NY. The style is psychedelic maximalism and the whole project was done with a DIY ethos from the exterior paint job to some of the self designed or reclaimed furniture to custom wallpapers and textiles. Erin Cadigan is a fashion and textile designer and free lance illustrator. She has a book published with Bloomsbury on textiles for fashion and is a visiting instructor at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY. Martin Mills has a background in real estate and has recently owned his own design build contracting firm in Brooklyn NY. One of his favorite projects was building the art studio and home for the wife of Carl Andre, American minimalist artist.
