Our PM, Charley, communicated regularly keeping us informed of their progress. The team stayed on schedule and cleaned up daily. The Stone Man was always available for questions and very responsive. I recently hired “The Stone Man” for a new patio installation, and they did an excellent job. The team was professional, arriving on time each day, and worked efficiently to stay on schedule. We couldn't be happier with The Stone Man. Alan and Jeremy and the whole team were great from start to finish. They transformed our backyard from a sloping unusable space to a flat back yard the whole family can enjoy. The project was completed on time and within budget. We hired The Stoneman to remove the old deck on the back of our house and construct a three-tiered covered stone patio in its place. The project is now finished and we are absolutely and completely delighted with the outcome of the project. Every step of the way, The Stoneman was knowledgeable, courteous, thorough, honest, communicative and responsive. We could not have had a better experience. Our project, by nature of its complexity, took over 5 months to complete. Not once during this time were we disappointed with the service or quality of the work. When we started our project, we were fairly confident that the stone work would be done well but we had some hesitations about the amount of carpentry work that would need to be done in attaching the large gabled new roof to our house. We found that the quality of The Stoneman’s carpentry is equal to their expertise and knowledge in constructing the stone structure. In fact, every sub they brought in (electrician, roofing, audiovisual, painting, etc.) was not only superb in the quality of their work but also extremely kind and courteous in their interactions with us. In fact, we can say with confidence that everyone we encountered along the way was a joy to work with. We are extremely happy and pleased with the completed project and have nothing but good memories of the time spent with The Stoneman in bringing this dream to reality. We recommend The Stoneman without hesitation and with the highest of confidence.

Designed and built large patio, fireplace with gas log starter and separate space for watching night sky with stepping-stones connecting. These guys were great from start to finish. Chose them after interviewing three hardscape contractors. Process very well organized and they were upfront about everything; including the noise and dust involved in cutting stone. They had a site supervisor who was readily accessible and came by almost daily. Finished product is amazing!

We had an excellent experience with The Stone Man. Our goal was to build a patio with a fire pit and seating wall and they took the time from the beginning to get our project just right, going through several virtual renderings and allowing us to choose our preferred Belgard products to match our budget. They also worked with us to keep the yard damage to a minimum during the construction process and were very efficient in the work that they did. My family has already put the patio and fire pit to great use this winter and we would recommend using them to anyone looking to take on a hardscape project!

Having recently moved into the area , we had The Stone Man take out the old deck and build a new patio, fire pit and built in outdoor kitchen. They were fantastic!! Everything from the design to the finished product, they were on top of the project every step of the way. Even after everything was paid, Chris came back out to make some touchups, things I hadn't even noticed. They came recommended from a friend of ours in Charlotte and as I write this, I hope this recommendation helps others make that decision. You won't be disappointed!!

We had The Stone Man come in and build us a retaining wall on one side of our pool, and on the other side install a paver sidewalk which connected the house, driveway, and pool. We also had pavers and stacked stone wall built to surround a pool-side pavilion. I am very pleased with the finished product and appreciated the flexibility The Stone Man provided as I was building the pavilion myself.

Definitely a top notch, high-end, outdoor design and construction company. Stone Man puts quality and communication out-front of everything they do. The process from design to final walkthrough was planned out to a tee and communication was as proactive as I have experienced in using construction firms. They have the creativity and skill to make your vision a reality, regardless of size and complexity. Their teams of masons are skilled and courteous, treating the project as if their own. Large projects require flexibility to adjust to change. Stone Man’s teams and PMs are as skilled as any in adjusting and remediating change / challenges. Our project was a full backyard redesign, with pool, decking, retaining walls with land transformation - elevations, drainage, etc. We recommended them to a neighbor who is also enjoying the experience. Great partner!

Jeremy my Project manager was informative and Timely... then there was the actual work. Unbelievably beautiful. I'm in love with my patio. Made a 100% difference in the look of my backyard.
