Stuart and his crew did a fantastic job. Finished in time and on budget. Will use them again for any future projects masonry related.

We decided on Stewart/Legacy Brick & Stone based on a number of factors: namely that he and his family were in masonry for generations, that he was present at every project, he was affordable and would fit us in his schedule sooner than most other companies. The project we hired them for was a pavers patio, pop-up drain and blocking up an old crawl space with cinder blocks and cement. We had issues with all three of these things and gave Stewart since May 2017 to remedy the situation -- it's now December and he never came to fix what he said he would nor has he contacted us to remedy any part of the project. Pros: They showed up on time and finished the project on the estimated one day timeline. Affordable. Cons: - Stewart was only present at the beginning of the project when they were setting up and never came back. We had to call him a few times during the patio install because his workers started installing the patio much smaller than discussed. Stewart spoke to them and remedied the situation before it was too late, but had we not been home and watching we would have gotten a much smaller patio than we hired them to install. -In multiple spots, his workers installed imperfect pavers that have actual holes in them. We had plenty of pavers left over that could have been used or they could have even used those particular pavers for the ones they cut for the border. Either way, these particular pavers should have never been installed. -We hired them to install a pop-up drain that they also installed incorrectly to begin with. We had to call Stewart and have his guys dig up the pop-up drain and reinstall it much deeper into the ground. At a later date, when water was pooling at the top, Stewart informed us that the pop-up drain was intended to work with grass vs just dirt/soil. This would have been pertinent information before we paid/installed this item, as the particular area he installed it will never grow grass. -Where they closed up the crawl space, they left the cinder blocks with cracks left in the concrete. With all of these complaints, we have contacted Stewart more than three times before writing this review and have waited over 7 months for this situation to be remedied. Stewart never came back nor has he or his company contacted us again. Don't take his word that he stands by his work or is present at all projects-- unfortunately it is not true.

Stuart and His crew arrived as scheduled maintained a clean work site and installed my paver walkway with meticulous craftsmanship. This is the second job I contracted with them and was extremely pleased both times. I would recommend them to anyone who is as anal about their house as I am.

We contacted Legacy Brick and Stone when we were trying to decide if we wanted to build a deck over an existing cement patio or to replace it with Cambridge pavers. The owner, Stewart Raccuglia, showed up at the designated appointment time. He explained the entire project from start to finish along with a description of the products used during the install. His pitch was upbeat and professional but not high pressure. We were not sure after his presentation as to the decision we would make. He offered to meet us at a local supplier of the product so that we could see the product in person and not just from a catalog. This helped seal the deal. The demolition and prep work were completed in a day as projected. The install was delayed a day by bad weather. The install was completed on day two. The patio looks fantastic. The installers cleaned the worksite when the installation was complete. There were no hidden costs. We no doubt have a patio that will long outlive us!!! Thank you to Stewart and his installation team for a professional, on time, on budget installation.

Legacy Landscapes installed a driveway for me using pavers, built a retaining wall, power washed existing pavers around my pool and put polymeric sand in the joints and installed the "pegs" for an existing loop lock cover on the pool (the existing pegs were too short and were causing the surrounding pavers to come loose). I found Stewart, the owner of Legacy, to be truthful, hard working (he was on the job everyday), had a great crew working with him, and started and finished the job in the time frame he told me. The work was excellent and the attention to detail and doing it "right" allows me to recommend them without any hesitation.

"Absolutely Beautiful" I hired Legacy Landscapes to remodel my Backyard and I could not have asked for a more thoughtful, respectable, and responsible Contractor. The knowledge and expertise that Stewart provided was exactly what we were looking for.
