At age 14 Chad Dennis and his brother Josh borrowed a mower, weedeater and broom and had their dad drive them to a friends yard to help cut her grass. A few yards later, and two years down the road, they borrowed the family truck to become C&J Lawn Care. Little did Chad know that after college, grad school and a brief stint in the corporate world, his desire to be outdoors would move him back into the lawn care business. So in 2004, Solid Ground Lawn and Landscaping was established. The principles of reliability, quality and integrity that were instilled in him growing up are now being displayed in the daily operations of Solid Ground. Coupled with excellent work and a great team, those values have been the bedrock for the growth and success of the company.
