I have recommended them to family and friends. This is the second time I have used them. The first time they did all of my flooring except for 2 bedrooms and the master bath. They are very good and considerate and professional that is why I used them again just recently to do the 2 bedrooms and my bath.

Our experience with Simmons is always perfect! This last purchase, they could not have been more patient and professional. We had problems with our contractor, getting us to the point of installing our tile and Simmons waited on us patiently. They also recommended a great company to re-porcelain our tub. They have done flooring for us through the years and now bathroom tile around our shower/tub. It always comes out perfect!! You can't go wrong with this company.

Simmons saved us from a most frustrating Christmas. We had been in the process of having a re-do on our master bath & bedroom with a contractor. The last stage was new carpet. When we went in to pay for the last stage we found out they would not move our bed around to lay the carpet. We were told we would have to find someone who would & have them get in contact with them. I told them to keep their carpet. Not knowing what to do I went to Simmons who had done work for us before. They said no problem. They came the next day to measure, ordered the carpet from the manufacturer, and had it laid in less than 10 days. They worked very hard to make sure it was laid the Friday before Christmas Eve. I was finally able to clear out my dining room which had been loaded with boxes of 'stuff' during the re-do, to have a place to sit the family for Christmas dinner, and it was all thanks to the effort of Simmons to make sure their customer was served. Our sales rep, James. was very knowledgeable about carpets, and knew what I wanted from my very limited description of that want. They did a beautiful job of laying the carpet and James came out to look it over and make sure we were pleased. We will definitely buy from Simmons again.

Overall great experience, with a few glitches. Siegfried, our sales/project manager, was extremely friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. This was a big project -- the entire upstairs was getting hardwood floors, minus the bathrooms (which are tiled). We planned it out to try and minimize disruptions to our daily lives, knowing that the project would take about 4 days total. I was a bit unprepared for the amount of noise and dust involved. The crew seemed unprepared to minimize dust in non-project areas; the amount of wood dust in the bathrooms (which were not being remodeled) and on 15+ wood blinds, ceiling fans, and other non-floor areas made for a very daunting, weekend-long cleanup effort after the project was done. One of the workers admitted they were not used to doing projects of this scale as remodels; Siegfried echoed that the crew typically mostly did new-construction projects. There were a few issues with the finish on the floors, which took additional time to correct. The good news is that the floors turned out quite well; they are beautiful. Not flawless, but very, very good. The project cost was exactly as agreed upon -- no surprises or issues there at all. The materials were all high-quality. The floors are beautiful, and we are really enjoying them. Overall very happy with the end result, and with Simmons as a service provider.

It was great to be able to take the flooring samples home to see how it would actually look in our home with our lighting. Everyone was courteous from Siegfried who was the salesman to Matthew who delivered the flooring and the 2 men, Bruno and Jeremiah who installed it in our home office and master bedroom. The floor looks great and we are pleased with it. The job was done on the day we picked and there was no mess left behind.

When we decided we wanted to install wood flooring we did a lot of on-line shopping to see which local companies had the best reviews. To be honest, not many had even average reviews. We stopped by Simmons Flooring on a Saturday around 2:00 in the afternoon to find Siegfried in the store. Little did we know, they we not open, and Siegfried was there to meet a client. He said, "No problem, come on in and let me see what I Can find for you." We were surprised he let us stay in the store and shop a while. After looking at other stores, and getting another quote, we decided to use Simmons Flooring, and we are very happy with our new wood floors. Siegfried brought in Jose and his crew to install our floors as well as new baseboards, and they did a fantastic job. We had a rotted out sill on the exterior of our home and they repaired it as well, which ended up looking brand new. If you are in the Denton area and are looking for a company to install your wood floors, call Simmons Flooring and ask for Siegfried.
