85 years and counting… Scarlett’s Landscape, Inc had its beginnings as a residential landscape maintenance company in Depression-Era, 1930s Los Angeles. After 4 generations, we continue to re-invent ourselves to stay relevant in this ever-changing environment of water restrictions and green building practices. We currently specialize in Outdoor Design - Build services for residential and commercial clients across Southern California. We are still family-owned and operated and have a dedicated team of architects, designers, and construction crews on our staff to provide the highest quality planning, installation, and project management. I was extremely pleased with Scarlett Landscapee's design, planning and execution for our landscape project. Our hillside home needed a statement staircase from the house pad to a lower entertainment area. Scarlett's men created a work of art and tied it into a very functional and attractive retaining wall. Reducing water consumption was one of our goals and they identified beautiful drought tolerant plants that actually looked good with my Cape Cod house. They bocce ball court and children's play yard in the entertainment area are the envy of the neighbors and a favorite area of our grandchildren. But most importantly, Jeremy Scarlett and his professional employees really care about their clients. They checked on us after the Thomas Fire and helped me come up with a lighting restoration plan. I know they are there for me and care that my yard returns to its old glory. You couldn't be in better hands. They are tops in every way!

Two summers ago we had Scarlett's do our front yard. We sat down with them and told them basically what we wanted. One of their designers (Chris Camarillo) drew a design up for us which was absolutely beautiful. The crew was great. Place looked neat as a pin after they were done each day and they were there every work day until it was done. It was so nice that last summer we had them do the back yard. Completely tore out the patio and redid. Made an enclosed outdoor shower for us (love it!). Put in a new lawn and beautiful plants and tied in everything to the automatic watering system that was installed the year before. Did I mention the outstanding crew :) You can't go wrong with these folks. To answer some of the questions below the projects were Front (summer of 2016 approx. 30K), Back (summer 2017 approx. 60K.

Great design, great implementation. Scarlett's did a large back yard project for me that turned out absolutely beautiful - they did a great job understanding my needs, be flexible enough to make some changes and then executed the implementation flawlessly. Chris worked with me on the design and came out to the project to make sure every detail was adhered to and made it easy for me to add things along the way. It was a large project, I wanted it done RIGHT and that's exactly what I got.

Scarlett's Landscape, Inc. was amazing in every faze of my project. The designer took my list of "wants" and executed the design perfectly. The actual construction of my yard went smoothly with their people doing an exceptional job of taking it from the drawing to actuality. They cleaned up and organized daily and got the job done quickly. It was an amazing job and I highly recommend them.

We've used this company several times over the years, most recently in October of 2017. They are also coming back to do a smallish project for us later this month. They do great work, and we have always been satisfied. Besides being extremely competent and knowledgeable, they are all around nice people!

We looked around at several top landscape firms for a backyard makeover in 2017, and ultimately selected Scarlett's for the job. Our decision came down to wanting a contractor with the skill and experience in succulents and water conservation, as well as beauty and easy maintenance. We were not, and have not, been disappointed in anyway. The entire team from design to execution to follow up are 100% fantastic and professional. My wife and I had a theme/design in mind that we presented to Chris Camarillo (designer). Chris took our ideas, and twisted them in ways we didn't think of and created an amazing environment. The demo and install teams were hard working very skilled gentlemen. They use inspectors who revisited the site several times to make sure everything was healthy and properly watered. I underestimated the value of having written, detailed landscape and lighting plans. I provided that to my weekly gardener, and he uses it for maintenance. Scarlett's was not the lowest price choice out there (not the highest either), but all plants are from top nurseries and their attention to the job was worth every penny. We had no "change orders" and no billing surprises. Highly recommend.

We have used Scarletts Landscape 3 times, I think. Each time they have done an excellent job for us. They show up on time , complete work usually around time estimated, and are fun to work with. Just to not make them sound too amazing, we do have one issue with some tile that is the wrong color, doesn't match the old tile. But we think it may have faded. Went in a better color. Maybe pick out your own tile before installed. So of 3 jobs, that is only issue with them. And it's really an issue with the sun!!

Scarlett's Landscaping designed and updated a small backyard patio space for our home at the beach. They built planters and a bench, created a built-in barbecue, added lighting, a shade canopy and new plants to maximize the use of our small space, update the look and create a cozy oasis. The crew was very professional, easy to work with and the quality of workmanship was outstanding. I look forward to having them come back and work on the front of the house in the future.

I could not speak more highly of my experience with Scarlett's Landscape. They built a patio cover and did some work with pavers in my backyard. The cover exceeded my expectations in design, materials, and craftsmanship. The paving work breathed new life into my patio and they were able to integrate it into my existing concrete flawlessly. The workers who came out were professional, friendly, and even put up with my inquisitive dog and kids! Scarlett's went above and beyond and uncovered a clean out that had been cemented over in the past and also noticed and fixed a sagging electrical conduit while they were on the job. In the end, my yard was left as clean as if no one had ever been there and my family can now enjoy our beautiful outdoor space.

Removed brick patio and layer new rebar, poured a terra cotta color concrete and it looks beautiful! New patio is smooth and looks larger!

We used Scarlett's Landscaping in 2012 to give us ideas on resolving a difficult drainage problem as well as an Ocean Friendly landscape for a cute, 100 year old rental home that we were remodeling. We received a great written design/plan that met our goals of minimal water use and low maintenance, good drainage with pleasant, usable outdoor spaces. The plan was exactly what we wanted. We decided to complete the hardscape, drainage and some plantings at that time and to add additional plants over time to spread the cost. We were delighted with the results in 2012 and now, 2 1/2 years later we could not be happier. Following the plans, we have added some plants and a bit more mulch, but the basic plan and work have held up perfectly. We'll use Scarletts again as needed in the future.

Scarlett's Landscape transformed our yard, not only with beautiful plants, but with a deck, seating wall, and brushed, tinted concrete paths. The plans were drawn by Scarlett's team and they really listened to what types of plants we envisioned and what type of use we wanted from the entertaining area of our yard. The team worked very hard and finished a few days early! They were always professional and friendly and left the yard free from any construction debris. Scarlett's Landscape worked within our budget, even offering creative to make our dollar stretch. I highly recommend this company!

Comentado: What is the gray, orange ground cover?Hi! Thanks for the compliment. That's a gazania ground cover. There are many different color options to chose from, grey or green leaf, and different shades of yellow, orange, red, and purple flower.
