Our clients have been our next door neighbors and Fortune 100 clients nationwide. Robert Tobin the owner of the architectural firm has made it is his lifelong ambition to understand every aspect of the built environment and has included green design concepts for the past 45 years. Starting his career as an apprentice in high school and continuing his education at Drexel University Evening College, he quickly realized his strong passion for the world of architecture and decided to follow this calling. Whether you are building an addition or a new residence, in Fairfield or New Haven Counties, Robert will walk you through each step of the process from the preliminary designs to choosing a contractor and filing for the necessary permits.

If I could rate him 0 stars I would. I highly don't recommend him . The contractors we interviewed for our renovation all agreed individually the plans were of no use to them, inaccurate and an incomplete set of plans. We lost a lot of money and had to start all over again. He is overpriced and unprofessional - his measurements and layout of plans provided were incorrect and completely lacked basic details. He did not fulfill the work and deliverables committed he outlined in the signed contract. When I discussed the contractor's feedback and all my disappoints with him he argued, was unprofessional and abruptly hung up on me.

Bob designed a beautiful house for us and we absolutely love it! He listened and incorporated all the requested design elements we were looking for and he did extra work to ensure we would meet/exceed all the new flood requirements. He was especially helpful in dealing with the town building and planning & zoning departments and in helping to get all the required permits. He was very professional, responsive, reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with and I would Highly HIGHLY recommend him.

Robert Tobin is the total package of a professional. His work ethic is impeccable. He goes above and beyond of what is asked of him. He really cares about the client and their wishes. I would highly recommend and use his services again.

I met Bob a few years back when my wife and I were planning on building our dream home (a reproduction antique colonial). Bob worked with us on designing a home for us that fit our requirements. When things fell through with the lot we were forced to buy an older home. Bob was very understanding with this. This April we had the opportunity to buy a lot and build that dream home. I contacted Bob and he picked things up right where they left off. He made some minor changes to fit the new codes and the build was off. Then 4 months later we had our dream home. Bob was available any time I needed him. And working with a small local business his phone was always on. He was always willing to make any changes we wanted and there were a lot during the build. His quote was right on and there were no hidden fees or unexpected costs.

Bob Tobin is a professional who is easy to work with and listens to his clients. We had a large addition designed by him and we were thrilled every step of the way. He probed into our desires for the addition and was able to get it all done as we requested. Our home is on a lake and he fully understood and designed to capture that important element. We enjoyed the experience so much that he is currently working on another project with us.

Comentado: Beautiful. What is the brand and color of stone veneer?The stone was natural stone from a Connecticut quarry. The key to a natural stone vs. a synthetic stone is the size of the face large face an corner thickness is the trademark of natural stone.

Comentado: what color is this.... love itSusan, The color is a prefinished factory paint. The shingle manufactures website is http://www.maibec.com/us/ I believe the owner picked grey willow or willow grey. Hope that helps.
