For years, we were searching for our dream house, without success. Finally, after exhaustive searching, we decided to create it. We could not have done it without Rebecca. She has the mastery to understand and internalize our vision, and convert that into reality , with the exact aesthetic we wanted. She was able to design our spaces, taking into account each room’s function, while keeping the flow peaceful, harmonious, and bringing the outside in, through the large picture windows. Rebecca’s mark is on the entire house. We love every inch of it.

To be very honest, I never thought designers did much and that using one for a home remodel was unnecessary fluff. Boy was I ever wrong. The transformation of our entire 3 floor home was unbelievable. Rebecca managed to bridge my wife's and my wants and tastes into really beautiful, interesting, and balanced spaces thought the home, including my man-cave. I originally wanted to exclude it from the project, but after seeing what Rebecca did with the rest of our home, I had to have her re-envision my man-cave, and I'm so, so glad she did. It went from plain and mundane to uber cool and interesting everywhere you look. After seeing the results of our home, I asked Rebecca to remodel my office, and wow, I never thought an office could look so good. She added a level of class and sophistication I couldn't have imagined possible for a boring old office. Hats off to you Rebecca! You did an amazing job and we can't thank you enough.

Rebecca was able to update/freshen up our PEI vacation home from a distance, based solely on space measurements and photos. We had resources onsite to the work, but Rebecca outlined the plan and did all the decor. She was able to execute on our vision perfectly, all the while being mindful of tight deadlines to accommodate our vacation renters (even in a pandemic!) and budget. We are delighted with the results!

Our renovation project was a big one, including 4 bathrooms, and a full kitchen. It was really important that we chose the right designer for the execution of our vision, but also someone with whom we had a certain chemistry as we had a lengthy project ahead. From the moment my husband and I met with Rebecca she made us feel comfortable, and brought a sense of calm in an otherwise stressful situation. She not only handled every single detail regarding the renovation, relieving us of all the headaches, but did it with such ease, and made seem effortless. The design plans were drawn up swiftly, the contractor’s requests were always attended to in a timely manner, our materials were picked with careful consideration, and she was so very patient throughout the whole process. My husband and I were often unsure of our design choices, but Rebecca was always there to steer us in the right direction. Her vision boards were wonderful, and we were given plenty of options to choose from that all fit within our design plans. Her eye for design is just simply outstanding, and we could not have asked for a more capable, and personable designer. We receive non-stop compliments on our home, and its all thanks to Rebecca!

Choosing Rebecca as my designer was the best decision I made in helping to design my penthouse condominium from the initial layout, to all the finishing details. Every step was timed perfectly, Rebecca always knew where we needed to focus next. Experience brings with it the benefit of ideas that only a seasoned, creative designer can offer. We did a reno / remodel that included our kitchen / dining / family rooms as well as the master bedroom. Working with Rebecca was enjoyable and collaborative. She listened, asked questions and made suggestions that we’d never had considered on our own. I think the mark of a great designer is to help the clients understand what they WANT - which may or may not be what they are ASKING FOR - and then help them to achieve it. That’s what Rebecca did for us. After years of design starts and stops our house finally feels like our home. Rebecca met with us a few times to go over our vision and tastes. She came back with design boards that listed colors, products, suppliers, prices, etc. Based on the our feedback she (patiently) made adjustments until wed had a final vision for each room. She was able to help us source everything from products to trades people. She made the process very easy. Rebecca was available and responsive throughout the process. She communicated regularly and was always fast to respond to any questions or issues. When problems arose she solved them quickly. While I know she had other (larger) projects going on at the same time she always made us feel like we were her only clients. We really enjoyed working with her and would do so again without hesitation.

My house ended up looking exactly how I wanted it to be. I wasn’t familiar with home designers but Rebecca helped me see things I didn’t even think I liked. Her vision for different type of options on what should go where is actually impressive. Whether it’s lights, art, tables, etc. Even though everything was through texts and emails, I could still see her vision and opinion on things with moodboards and calls.

Rebecca did an amazing job at our property! She was professional, always on time , and met all our deadlines. She is a true professional and we will use her services again. Rebecca is always available to answer our questions, and was pleasant to work with.

I'm really glad that I have the chance to work with Rebecca. She is very easy to work with. She listens to my needs and always gives me inspiring ideas and suggestions. Rebecca and her team at RMI helped us with a redesign of a Victorian farmhouse. She delivered on time under challenging circumstances as we were out of the country for most of the renovation. Rebecca was always organized and efficient while coordinating the many diverse aspects of the project including a complicated refit of a new radiator system imported from England. While she offered many ideas and alternatives Rebecca always stayed in our comfort zone regarding budget. She was easy to work with and answered texts and emails quickly and always had time to talk things through. We especially love her design of our kitchen - which is an awkward shape. But she was able to come up with a beautiful and functional layout. She listened to what was important to us in a kitchen and was able deliver something custom. The best thing about our home now is the overall feeling when you walk in. It has an unfussy elegance. Rebecca was able to take an old house that felt disjointed and aged and make it feel cohesive and fresh. Our friends and family comment on how beautiful and unique it is. And it feels like home to us. We would highly recommend Rebecca and RMI. They exceeded our expectations on so many levels.
