Disappointing experience. After the first rain, the patio caved in due to the ground not being packed well, rather than pulling it all up and fixing it the right way, they patched up the areas that had sunk. They came out a few times to "fix" but never really got it right. We still have areas that are uneven due to settling when it rains. Also, the 3-size pattern for the travertine, has no pattern, so many pieces cut in odd shapes with no pattern or style. Chipped corners. This turned out to be a very expensive regret.

We hired OLC Labor Day weekend 2019 for a backyard remodel. We wanted a patio build onto the house with a fire pit off the patio and desert landscape installed. We were told the project would take approximately 4 weeks to complete but the actual timeline was closer to 9 weeks from start to finish. The work turned out great, we were very impressed with the outcome but the lack of communication on the timeline, changes made to the plans without telling us, and the fact that the painter (Dave Logue) still hasn't come back to touch up the final parts of stucco (over 2 months after the project was complete), is very frustrating. We are understanding people and definitely know that timelines are hard to stick to in construction but the frustration comes from the lack of communication. - They planned for 4 pillars on the patio design but only dug 3 holes because the city approved 3 instead of 4 pillars. Totally fine, but send us a text message or email so we don't think the crew is making a mistake. - The patio was supposed to have 2 walkways that connect before going to the fire pit, but they did 2 walkways to the fire pit. Again, probably looks better this way but would have been nice to know in advance. - Your team is overbooked and can't get to the project until later in the year, we UNDERSTAND IF YOU SHARE THAT INFORMATION. But the entire time, we were not told anything and just left wondering when our backyard will be done with construction. The best part though, our neighbors behind us, contacted the same company and had the EXACT SAME patio installed in 2-3 weeks time when we had to wait 9 weeks for ours to be completed which it still isn't because we can't get the painter (Dave Logue) to come by and paint since he's already received his cut of the money. If the communication and helpfulness of the team would have been better, this would have been a 5-star review but the fact that we still can't say our backyard is complete after 4 months, it's very irritating. Edit: The owner of the company reached out to me after I posted the review in January and apologized for the issues that we had. He said he would communicate directly with the painter to get the house fixed. After 6 weeks and multiple emails/text messages to the owner and his colleague, the house was finally finished. It took a touch up and a full repainting of the bottom half of the house to get it right but we are definitely satisfied with the work. We use the gas fire pit frequently and love being able to sit at the Kokomo bar that we had installed while we eat dinner/watch TV. It was a great investment, just took longer than we expected but we are very happy with the end result.

Outside Living Concepts completed a full service landscape design and construction on our front yard. Curt and his team are professional, dependable, friendly and timely. Curt has a great eye for design and his team does the highest quality of work. We were so impressed with our front yard, we had Curt complete our back yard the following year. We highly recommend Outside Living Concepts to anyone that is looking for landscaping services.

Outside Living Concepts is one AWESOME company. We were referred to Outside Living Concepts thru friends of ours, who had them design their whole front and back yard landscape. They were extremely pleased with the outcome. Curt Haven owner of OLC, will take it to heart and personally be part of your design dream oasis of all your landscaping. He will give you ideas of what he thinks will look best and where it will look best at, or if you already have ideas and just need a great reputable company, OLC is your first choice.! We built a brand new home on a 1/2 acre so we were starting with a clean slate. We knew we wanted artificial turf in the front and the back yard. Curt brought us samples so we could feel the difference between the turf. We did not know there were so many to choose from, but Curt explained there is a big difference in how it will look and feel. We love our choice that we picked out. We also helped us with ideas for trees and plants that would give us some good shade right away. He designed our Custom Fire Pit which is surrounded by all the beautiful pavers he installed as well. We love going out in the evening to enjoy all the ambience he has created for us.!! We now have lived in our home a year and we still have people stopping by to look and ask who did our landscaping, We have given Outside Living Concepts card out numerous times and alot of of our new neighbors have used them now as well.

Curt and his team from Outside Living Concepts did a total make over of our yard. 3 years ago the did our back yard. Curt came out and discussed with us our ideas then he came back with a full plan! They did all the design work, demo, prep, installation/construction and clean up. We feel like we live at a resort now! We were so happy, we had them come back this year and do the front yard. Exceptional! One more thing, we had a small problem with a couple lights they installed and without hesitation they were back to make repairs and make us happy.

I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the completed work from Outside Living Concepts on our landscape project. Curt Havens designed a stunning backyard and front courtyard area for us that exceeded our dreams. We especially love the fire pit and are so thrilled with the artificial grass, new granite, lights and pavers he helped us select. Adding a paved path between the driveway and back patio plus a new gate greatly improved the functionality of our property. The crews started and finished our project on schedule and all were professional, warm and courteous. The work was completed on budget and we feel every penny spent shows in the quality of the finished job. Curt's experience was evident in his design and budget estimates; he was accessible throughout the project and we appreciated his follow up. We had fun in the process!

Our project consisted of a complete renovation / replacement of our front and back yard landscaping, along with a complete renovation of our swimming pool and related equipment. From the very first contact through the day of completion, Curt and his team were consistently courteous, punctual, and consummate professionals. Curt worked with us to provide landscaping that exceeded our expectations, taking our thoughts and proposals and melding them with his own, while staying within our budget. He is clearly highly experienced and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Outside Living Concepts, and will be using them again for all my exterior renovations.

Curt was already in the neighborhood designing and building new yards so it was nice too see some of work. Every job we looked at was well done with thoughtful design. He came to my house and we discussed ideas. He put them on auto cad and came back with a plan that was great. His crews were very clean and worked early every day. TERRIFIC EXPERIENCE. We hired Outdoor Living Concepts to demo an old grilling area and create a new outdoor bar and grill. We could not figure out where to put it to take advantage of our lake view. Believe me, neither could the two other firms we bid. Then Curt Havens of Concepts arrived with enthusiasm, ideas, an ear for listening to what we needed & a sketch pad. Price was right. Craftsmen were excellent. Project manager kept on top of things and corrected a small electrical issue the next day. Curt checked on the project daily and personally sealed the bar top to teach me how to maintain it in the future. This is a company that cares about itheir customers

Outside living concepts helped me with design ideas and created my dream backyard. They did a complete remodel which turned out amazing and is now my favorite place to be! They were very knowledgeable and professional.
