Initially, we were a little nervous as we had been very disappointed with a past project, in particular with the builders. Following a chat with Nathan we were confident that he had listened and understood our aims and vision. We therefore chose Nathan to complete the design work and also to project manage the site works. We liked the designs Nathan put forward and following a few adjustments we were happy to progress to the next stage, confident that Nathan had taken on board our requirements. Nathan also suggested several builders we could approach for quotes, who he felt would be a good match for us and our project. Throughout the project Nathan always listened and asked if we were happy with everything before progressing to the next stage. He also kept us fully informed of all developments, regardless of whether we needed to do anything, so we knew exactly what was happening. This gave us the reassurance that everything was being done exactly as it should be. When we got to the actual building stage it was an absolute breeze, fantastic. There was clear communication all the way along with the builders so we knew exactly what was happening and when, so we could plan accordingly. There were no horrible surprises and it was so different to our previous experience. The timings were perfect; Nathan’s estimated timescales worked out almost to the day. As Nathan also helped manage the budget, he looked at where we could pull back on certain items and spend more in order to get the best value for money. Even after the building work had finished Nathan and the builders were on hand to answer any questions and also to put things right. A few unexpected snags cropped up several months after completion and Nathan helped organise repairs, to suit us, even with Coronavirus restrictions, until we were happy with things. We found Nathan is very easy to work with and that makes a difference too. Overall, it was the perfect journey and we are very happy with how things turned out. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nathan and we already have done so on a number of occasions.

We worked with Nathan to help expand a busy doctors surgery to gain more consulting rooms and staff space. Nathan's initial concept design options were great and considered things we hadn't thought of, that made the whole scheme work a lot better and more efficiently. The detailed technical design and associated information was very thorough with nothing missed off. This helped provide accurate costs plus it meant the actual building work was faster and easier for the site workers. We also found Nathan very amicable, easy to work with and flexible, with everything we agreed, delivered on time to a high standard. Everyone loves the new rooms, it's now a pleasant experience for patients to visit and staff to work in. We highly recommend Nathan's services and would happily use his services again in the future.

We have used Nathan’s services on a number of occasion and so instructing him for the work on our home was a no-brainer. Nathan provided a great service and delivered on the various commitments he made from the outset. One of Nathan’s overriding strengths is his attention to detail which is of particular importance with design work. As well as all other areas, the final design for the extension definitely satisfied our brief. We wanted a high-end contemporary design that complemented and contrasted the stone and period features of the existing building. As we were project managing the building works ourselves, we also benefitted from Nathan’s contacts of highly recommended specialists. Nathan provided regular updates regardless of whether we had requested this, which goes a long way to trusting everything is under control. Whilst self project management was successful, it was also time-consuming and so we would definitely consider Nathan’s project management services if taking on a similar project in the future. We love the design of our new home which now works much better for our family life. We highly recommend Nathan’s services.

I was in need of an architect at quite short notice when I embarked on a recent property development project and didn’t know who to turn to or to trust for the job. In short, I couldn’t be more happy with Nathan’s services as he “ticked all the boxes,” he was prompt, efficient and professional. I was particularly impressed with his attention to detail, in fact it was a bit of an eye-opener to see the amount of detail required for such a project. Ultimately, being armed with so much information prior to commencing the work it was a great aid in making the project run smoothly. I’d happily use his services again in the future and will recommend him when the opportunity arises.

Nathan responded to my post on Houzz about my garden project as I was seeking assistance about whether the paving had been laid to the correct fall. Nathan did 3 site inspections wrote a full and very detailed report which confirmed and explained what had gone wrong . He met with the gardener and advised about how to lay the paving correctly . He followed up all meetings with a detailed and accurate note . Thanks to Nathan the paving has been relaid to the correct specifications. Nathan is extremely knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Should I need the services of an architect I won’t hesitate to employ him. I can wholeheartedly recommend his services .

Nathan became involved with our project in the early stages and his expertise, professionalism and passion towards delivering the perfect project was astounding. He went above and beyond at each stage to make sure we were comfortable and understood the process of a project of this nature. The project itself was fraught with listed building limitations and space complications which Nathan took in his stride and managed a fabulous renovation and fully functioning space to suit our needs. I would recommend this company without a second thought and cannot praise Ikonografik enough!

Nathan listened and sought to understand our wishes from the initial meeting and then worked with us to produce a design that fully realised our goals. Our final plans incorporated many of Nathan's innovative eco-friendly suggestions and 3D images which enhanced our original vision. His preparation was very thorough and he produced highly detailed drawings, enabling us to go to builders with confidence. We would highly recommend Ikonografik Design.
