I highly recommend Lee. I worked with her for a home remodel in San Francisco. We were first time homeowners and our first remodel. She was patient and walked us through every step of the process. She was efficient, reliable and creative!

Lee Shea is a skilled architect who from the beginning to the end of our remodeling project was an invaluable resource. At the start, Lee took our general ideas and provided us with several design options for the kitchen and two bathrooms, always taking into account our needs and style preferences. The designs were excellent! We are so happy we used her expertise as an architect because everything from the lighting, storage, moulding, electrical outlets, heating, etc. were carefully considered. The remodel is stunning as well as extremely functional. Communication was fantastic. During the construction Lee was always available to discuss the inevitable issues that occur when remodeling. We definitely made the right choice in engaging Lee as our architect and highly recommend her!

Lee helped us turn a first floor open breezeway into a conditioned entry mud room and laundry closet. We also removed a gate at the front of breezeway and made it the new entry door w side lights, redid entry path and front planters. Sunset area 1940’s home She was awesome to work with, listened to our ideas and made them even better. She also gave us options at different build price points. She was very fair with her time management and billing. I would recommend Lee in a heartbeat!

Lee is truly a professional with integrity. Responsive, a great ability to communicate clearly, thorough, resourceful, excellent visualization, a thoughtful designer. Lee can be trusted to be straight and honest, and when she tells you the date something will be completed by, you can count on it. That integrity is a very valuable thing, especially combined with the rest of her qualities.

After several interviews with other highly regarded architects, we selected Lee to help us with our sizeable remodel. While her architectural style was very much to our liking, what won us over was her personal working style that aligned well with our project, its timelines and the many personalities a remodel like ours brings together. Relying on building and embracing a thorough understanding of our vision, Lee was able bring clarity to what was sometimes a clutter of thoughts bringing to life, in design and blueprints, the vision for our new home. We also consulted with Lee who helped us through key design challenges, bringing her design sense and overall perspective to sharpen our focus, narrow our options and convincingly weave together the final pieces of tile, paints and fixtures. Because we are rather detailed by nature, we appreciated having a unifying style and palate to complete the transformation of our house into our home. Lastly, knowing about new regulations and deadlines that could impact our plans, Lee scheduled, waited in line and secured over-the-counter approval for our plans allowing us to achieve our design and project timelines. Lee is a great person to have on a design project!

Lee listened to what we wanted to achieve in our space, designed the perfect remodel plans for our kitchen, guest bath, and master bath, and assisted throughout the construction process. Throughout the entire process, Lee worked with the contractor and made sure everything was done in accordance with the plans. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LEE!

Lee helped redesign the kitchen in my mother's 1940s SF single-family house. We wanted to be green and modernize on a tight budget and timeline. We also wanted to keep some of the art deco touches and original wood flooring and cabinets. She helped us do all of that, while patiently helping us pick the perfect paint colors to complement the floors, granite countertop, and appliances. Once done, the new kitchen quickly became "go-to" hangout spot for friends and family ("Hygge," as the Danish would say.) I couldn't recommend Lee more.
