They were always accommodating and the project management was incredibly well done, on time and budget. They had someone one site every day throughout the project, whose attention to detail, professionalism, and craftmanship was impeccable. They delivered a high quality result.

Studio PHH Architecture designed a high-end contemporary home in Princeton and engaged Lasley Brahaney's Construction arm to build it. We worked with Marc and John who provided a transparent and comprehensive proposal, and with Paul on-site each day. Everyone was pleasant, professional and detail oriented and the project turned out beautifully thanks to that collaborative approach. With some highly custom details and finishes, Lasley Brahaney was always willing to spend the time with us and their subs in order to guide the project towards the beautiful home it is today. Lasley Brahaney has completed two projects for us now. The first was the addition of a garden room, the second a complete renovation of our basement, master bath and two small bathrooms. There were many moving parts but LB was on top of everything. We always felt we were in good hands. The staff are professional , skilled and proactive with recommendations. After meeting with several design/build firms, we decided that Lasley Brahaney was the team for us. From the first meeting to the final walk through, the team was extremely professional and thorough. We absolutely love our new kitchen, mudroom, laundry room and updated family room! The entire project was completed on time and to our satisfaction. Marc, Kim and Jon were easy to work with, listened to our needs and provided regular communication throughout the construction process. We were lucky enough to get the majority of the project done before the COVID lockdown, but they have been very good at accommodating our schedule and being flexible with the final finishing touches. It took us about 5 months of back and forth with the team to land on the final layout. The work required significant changes to be made as part of our kitchen/DR/LR renovation. When we were done talking thru the layout, everything was documented and we were ready for the hammers to start swinging! The estimated costs presented to us turned out to be accurate. The 3 months timeline that was proposed was met to the day...even with COVID! We were very pleased with the construction supervisor and his team. They kept us informed of any changes that were needed and for providing weekly progress reports. The job site was always kept clean and the subcontractors displayed a high degree of expertise and professionalism. We would not hesitate to use Lasley Brahaney again if needed.

We had a great experience working with Lasley Brahaney Architecture and Construction. From the first meeting with Marc and Kim through the estimate phase with John and Joe and the construction, having Mike and Frank on site overseeing everything, the process went as smoothly as one could hope for. We hired Lasley Brahaney Architecture + Construction to renovate the exterior of our 80 year old home after being referred by several contacts who highly recommended them for their quality, professionalism and ability to deliver a beautiful end product in the timeline promised. Every reference I called stated that they would not use any other company to work on their home. Our project included a complete exterior re-design and enhancement of classic architectural details including designing and constructing a front entry portico, replacing windows, shutters, cedar siding, garage doors, copper gutters, exterior lighting, cupola and blue stone masonry work. Marc and his team were very responsive to our needs from the first phone call to the last punch list item. We were interested in getting this job done as expeditiously as possible and very much appreciated Marc’s ability to outline realistic timing, order lead times and budget in a timely manner. Marc’s on site team was led by an exceptional project leader, Frank, who was our day to day point of contact. Frank did a great job of keeping us informed of the process, progress, answered our questions, concerns and requests. He effectively managed his own team, the specialty subcontractor’s used, made sure the work site was cleaned up each day and that all workers treated our home with care. We are very satisfied with the end product and would not hesitate to highly recommend Marc and his team to others. Quality, honesty, clear communication, ability to deliver on time and within budget matters to us and it matters to Marc and his team as well.

We have had the pleasure to work with Marc Brahaney and his team on two separate occasions. The first was on a very complicated residential project that resembled the depth and complexity you find on most commercial large-scale projects. Marc and his team worked as a true collaborative member and all where very happy with the results and end product they produced. The second project we worked with Marc on was one that the client requested it go out to bid. Marc formed a through team of inhouse and subconsultants during the bid process. Marc had them show all at the same time to review the project, site conditions and all were prepared with questions on the documents they received. There were few questions as we produced a through set of documents, and Marc’s bid was complete, delivered ahead of schedule and LOW BID. This gave us and the client a great deal of confidence in Lasley Brahaney Construction. We look forward to working on many successful projects with Lasley Brahaney Construction in the future.

I can't recommend Lasley Brahaney highly enough. We recently used them to add a second level onto our home. We have been delighted with the both the process and the results. The new bedrooms and bathroom look stunning. We were absolutely delighted (and surprised, based on what I hear about other contractors) that the renovation stayed on schedule and within our budget, down to the penny. Their project manager was a saint—extremely patient with us as we are highly-detailed homeowners. Renovations can be very stressful, but having Lasley as our contractor really helped alleviate any concerns. We will definitely be using their firm for any future renovation needs.

Marc and his team of experienced and thoughtful associates are a pleasure to do business with. I find their architectural drawings to be accurate and well specified, and to have solid details that are both functional and attractive. LasleyBrahaney has completed three jobs for me: in 2002, from design to finish, the company renovated a bed-sitting room in my house, adding book cases and larger windows: in 2012, after Hurricane Sandy, they repaired exterior damage; and in 2016, a studio outside the house was treated for mold and moisture damage, requiring expertise and engineering consultations. Each project was finished expeditiously by workmen who respected that the house was being occupied for the duration. The work continues to demonstrate the quality of materials and workmanship. We have hired Lasley Brahaney twice. Initially to design and build our house. The experience was enjoyable. Marc and crew are incredibly professional, meticulous to detail while coming in on budget and meeting deadlines. While we loved our house we have since downsized and once again hired Lasley Brahaney to redo a basement complete with bar and full bath. Once again the job was seamless from start to finish, the end product is extremely attractive. We would not hesitate a moment to recommend this firm for any size job.

Lasley Brahaney has designed three different projects for our 100 year old house over the past 16 years: a kitchen extension renovation, a carriage house renovation and most recently a basement renovation. The designs are thoughtful, creative and beautiful. The architects are highly professional. Because of their experience they anticipate engineering problems and address them in advance of construction which saves time and money for the project. Marc and his team have transformed our lovely Victorian house making it really light and airy and roomy, while at the same time keeping the historic character and beauty. Having lived in Princeton for many years and seeing the Brahaney sign outside of many homes that were being renovated I knew that this firm would be on top of my list when the time came for my renovation. My son used him to finish his basement and told me that he was great to work with and did a superior job. Si I called and set up an appointment. I was immediately impressed from the moment we met. I knew that this organization stood for quality and the fact that they were a one stop shop with architectural services and construction under one roof meant great management control over the entire process. I told them the scope of my project for a complete renovation of my kitchen, master bedroom and bathroom, guest bathroom and powder room. We collaborated on the design ideas, they drew up the plans and we made some revisions and then turned the project over to their construction team assigning a very experienced project manager to my project. He was here on location every day supervising all the contractors and doing most of the carpentry work. From demolition to final touch ups he was here insuring quality work. He was a master craftsman. I watched the project process every day and saw the care taken and at the end of everyday a total clean up. All of the sub contractors were first class. The plumber, electrician, HVAC, kitchen designer and cabinet manufacturer, Superior of Doylestown all were very impressive and all at the standard of excellence that you would expect. Once the project was completed I had my dream home. Can't recommend this company enough. Over the last 18 months we have done two great projects with the Lasley Brahaney team. Both projects ( a free standing guest house and then a major renovation of the main 100 year old home) were completed on time, within budget, to beautifully high standards and with great professionalism as well as wonderful sensitivity to our needs as clients living on the property being renovated. These are the three elements of Lasley Brahaney that have stood out over the four major renovation projects they have completed for us over the past 20 years. Add to that competitive pricing . . and they never had overruns. There were no unpleasant surprises, just pleasant ones of a company extending itself to please a client. They also stand behind their work in the long term. Lastly is the quality of the people who work at Lasley . . qualified, constructive, intelligent, pleasant, helpful, obliging, professional . . how many words can I use? I give them a top rating. I have loads of photos of all stages of the five projects they have done for us.

We started working with Lasley Brahaney in 2004 and continue to do so today in 2013. Their architecture team managed to solve some difficult floor plans in our older home which is never an easy task. We purchased an older home in 2004 which originally served as an eating club and therefore did not have a traditional floor plan. With a couple of changes, they created a comfortable flow in the house which served our family very well and allowed us to entertain large and small parties with ease. With their team we also redesigned a kitchen, a garage and a covered porch to name just a few projects. The construction team at Lasley Brahaney is dedicated, kind and talented. We lived through almost every project we did with LB and their team made this possible. Also, I have never seen such a high level of dedication. Our basement was known to flood and after one terrible storm a member of LB construction team stopped by to see if our basement was ok. When he saw that it was flooded he went back to the office and brought me sump pumps and removed the water. What made this even more remarkable was we were not working on any projects with LB at that time. We recently moved to an old farmhouse and where our relationship with Lasley Brahaney continues.

We hired Lasley Brahaney to reboot a stalled renovation project in the western section in 2008. They came in, took measurements, created new plans and reapplied for permits. From the time we had the first serious design meeting to the time they were swinging a hammer was about six weeks, and that included getting permits off of entirely new plans. In the course of the project, we came to know them well, meeting them weekly to go over the details of the project and any current issues. They could handle any issue entirely by themselves (Design and Build in the same house) but were very attuned to knowing when we might want to weigh in on a particular design decision. We have lived in the house now for nearly five years and are thoroughly delighted with their work. When we took the project to them the house was in Tyvek paper with very few internal walls in their final location. They created the rooms, moved windows, added new windows, fixed design flaws, and completed the inside including bathrooms and the kitchen. They came in on time and within the original budget projection. We moved into the finished house eight months after we signed with them. When hiring an architect and contractor for a big project, you need more than just a set of competencies, you need people who are like minded to you. Otherwise, it requires too much supervision. We found that in Lasley Brahaney.

Lasley Brahaney was the general contractor for building our house. They worked with our architect seamlessly and the final product is beautiful.
