Most of the time, we like to let the results of our hard work speak on our behalf, but it's about time we've been properly introduced. Nature’s Expressions provides a higher standard of landscape design and construction services. We create custom outdoor living spaces for each of our clients that fits their unique vision and lifestyle. Every day our landscape architects, outdoor construction team and craftsmen transform backyard dreams into reality. We pride ourselves on our thorough four-step process: Consult, Design, Construct and Maintain. We put the time into understanding your goals before we put a single design on paper. We do all this based out of our headquarters in Nicholasville, just south of Lexington, Kentucky. For over fifteen years we have provided landscape design and construction services for residents and businesses in Central Kentucky. We're more than a landscape contractor, we're your neighbor. McLellan Homes

Just signed a maintenance contract with them 2 weeks ago, for a full 12 months. Paid the first full month. They only came out once and then disappeared. Couldn't reach our contact, etc. Finally called the office and they have declared bankruptcy and have closed. They left unfinished work at our house including a tree they only partially removed, and received payment for 2 visits, but only came once. Very disappointing.

Natures Expressions has completed several projects for us … the latest being an upgrade to our front yard and entrance. They solved a water drainage problem by putting in a dry creek bed with river rock. In addition they killed off some of the grassy areas which were hard to mow & had a lot of native invasive weeds . That area now contains some beautiful hostas, ferns, grasses & chokeberries which will grow well in these partially shaded areas. Its made an awesome difference in the front area of our home. We are located in an area with lots of trees so this upgrade works well. Everyone on the job site those two days at our home were great workers and made sure we were happy with everything.

Nature's Expressions screened in our existing porch. We love the finished product and were very impressed with all the employees from the company we came in contact with. I will definitely call them again for any other outside projects we have.

We have been clients of Nature’s Expressions for the past eight years. Recently we had them remove some dead trees, then re-landscape the area. They did a wonderful job and they did it in just over a week. Much faster than we had anticipated. The end result is beautiful. We highly recommend Nature’s Expressions for all your landscaping needs.

We hired NEI to replace a retaining wall and add a water feature. Dave and Ken did a great job of working with us to design what we wanted, needed. Chris did a great job of running the project, keeping the work on track and keeping us in the loop. Tommy did an excellent job of designing and creating our water feature. We've enjoyed the water fall, patio, wall and plants all summer long.

Dave Laaker

We hired Nature's Expressions to complete a rock wall in our screen room, a paver walk and landscape. We were a bit gun shy because last year the guy that built the deck was horrible to deal with. Dave Miller(owner) and Wendy McAllister(design) listened to me for about an hour complain about our previous experience and were determined to change my mind about contractors. And they did just that. Dave shared specs for how they do things. I was assigned a project manager (Chris) that if didn't show up onsite would call in the morning and afternoon. Dave even showed up a couple times really late to check on things. This is a serious company with serious equipment. Serious about doing things right. And serious about making sure you are 100% happy. I've been told I'm 'particular'. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Wish I knew last year that they did decks/pools. Ruben did the paver/rock work for the walk and wall. He's a 'rockstar'.

The team from Nature's Expressions did an outstanding job on my landscaping project! They were very professional, knowledgeable, neat with the design, and cleaned up my entire yard before they left. I was most impressed with their attention to the details. I wanted trees for privacy, but I was concerned that I would have to sacrifice sunshine for privacy. As my trees were placed, someone stood back and looked at them from all angles, making sure they were in the precise spot they needed to be for privacy. The project manager, Joe Melody, actually used a compass to check when and where the sun would hit my yard. Amazing. I love my landscaping and I've received many compliments from my neighbors. I hesitated to call Nature's Expressions at first because they are well-known for very high-end projects. I'm so glad I did because my small project was treated as if it was a high-end one. I'm a devoted client and I will use them again.

There is no question that this company is set above the rest in their field. The end result will be more than you ever anticipated. We had a contractor begin work on our pool deck and left the job as well as kept the large down payment we gave him. I called Nature's Expressions because I had heard of the professional and experienced staff they employ. They took the stress out of the situation for us. The employees would arrive first thing in the morning and work until the end of the day. They were so polite and helpful. They stayed on the job until it was complete, unlike other contractors who come for a few days and then disappear to work on other jobs. They left the yard and work area cleaner than when they had arrived each day after working. I appreciated that I was offered several different plans for my pool deck to work with my budget. The size of the job didn't seem to matter to them. They were more concerned about what I wanted and what fit into my budget without being aggressive. There are several other phases of landcapig/ outdoor living we would like to do, so the plans were designed with that in mind for future work. We will always call Nature's Expressions and recommend them to anyone. I sure wish I had called them in the first place!

I would highly recommend Natures Expression to anyone looking for any outdoor work. They did extensive patio work at our house and we could not be more happy with the finished product. They are very professional and go out of their way to be as less intrusive as possible while they perform the work. They are great people and they do great work. We will call them for future projects for sure.
