Julie assisted us with redesigning our kitchen and master bathroom. Julie provided us with trusted resources and ideas within our design style. She stays involved with the contractor and kitchen/ bath provider and handles issues that arise and kept us updated even when we were out of town. Julie is a very kind, thoughtful person that enjoys and knows her profession! I highly recommend Julie for any of your design needs!

We never used an interior designer before. Honestly, I was a little intimidated by the thought. How lucky we were to find Julie! Her combination of professionalism and warmth made her a joy to work with. We had a large multipurpose room that could use some attention. Julie gave us layout ideas we had never thought of, and added just the right touches with accessories. But, the unexpected bonus of working with Julie is her experience and multitude of connections in many aspects associated with home ownership. Soon after she worked her magic at our house, we unexpectedly decided to downsize and sell the house. Julie gave us recommendations for all the resources we needed. First, a realtor to help us find a new house and sell our old one. Then, in order to downsize, we needed to dispose of many things we accumulated throughout the years. Julie connected us with an excellent individual to sell our things. Late in the moving process, we decided to replace carpeting in 2 rooms in the new house. Ideally, the carpet should be installed before furniture is moved in. Julie used her connections to ensure that the carpeting was installed in the morning just before the movers arrived that afternoon. Once in the new house, Julie lined us up with an electrician when we wanted outlets installed. And, a plumber when we discovered a leaking faucet. Julie’s help, thoughtfulness, and delightful demeanor are priceless!

We highly recommend Julie! We placed an offer on a house in Clifton Park in the height of the pandemic and wanted quite a bit of work done in the short period of time between closing on the house and moving in. Julie was essential to make this process go smoothly. Not only does she have amazing design skills and "eye", she has a roster of excellent vendors to call on for any project. The day we got the keys, she met us on site ready to go! She had vendors starting to sand and refinish the floors, painters lined up to repaint the entire interior, worked with a contractor to remodel the kitchen, replace the floors in the primary bedroom and an electrician to put new lights exactly where we wanted them. Throughout the process, she kept us up to date, sent pictures of the process and immediately contacted us when there was a question or decision to be made. She even arranged a cleaning crew for the day before we arrived to move-in. Our new home is beautiful and the work done to perfection. About a year later, we decided to remodel our primary bathroom. Again, Julie was ready to go with design ideas and top-notch vendors. She met us at various plumbing supply and cabinet stores to pick fixtures and colors. She used her relationships with a variety of vendors suppliers to get the job done quickly and efficiently, even with some pandemic-related supply chain hiccups. We couldn't be happier with Julie's work and the results on both projects!

Julie earns more than 5 stars! My husband and I had the pleasure to work with Julie throughout the renovation of our town house. She was 100% vested in making our dream home, always accessible, and over-the-top attentive; all with a fabulous eye for design and fashion. My experience with Jewels Interiors was outstanding! I contacted Julie when I decided, after 36 years, that the wallpaper had to go! Julie did not run in the opposite direction when I told her I wanted to refinish the hardwood floors, add custom millwork, buy new furniture, etc. Instead she took me by the figurative hand and led me through the process with calm integrity, charm and excellent decorating taste. Julie is honest in her opinions, forthcoming with suggestions and just a delight to be with. I am in sales and understand how important it is to be responsive to your customers which is why I was so appreciative of the time and attention she gave my project. I've already told her I want to finish my housing udates this year with my master bedroom, office and screened porch. I give Julie my highest praise and would not hesitate to recommend her - ever!!

I bought a little over 2k square foot house in August 2019 in Clifton Park that was perfect for me because of its privacy and location. The cons of this house were the interior was somewhat outdated and it did not fit my style. There were also areas in the house that were not quite finished. Therefore, even though this was my dream house on the outside and in terms of location, it was not yet on the interior. I initially hired another Designer that I let go after three weeks because I was not getting the attention or progress I was expecting and this project was larger than this Designer could handle. I then reached out to Julie and hired her after our first meeting. This project required the entire interior of the house as well as some of the exterior to be painted. It required replacement, removal or relocation of most of the lighting and electrical. The carpet on the entire first floor was replaced with hardwood. It had two accent walls added with fireplaces, a 12-foot sliding door installed and the entire kitchen replaced being the largest among many changes. Throughout this 5-month project, Julie was always responsive. At times if I became impatient for various reasons, Julie remained calm and professional when interacting with me. She had very good ideas but also worked well incorporating my style and ideas. If I have any projects, in the future I would not hesitate to work with Julie again if she were available. The changes in the interior have been dramatic and I now love everything about my house both inside and out. I have attached a few photos from the first floor living and dining room areas.

Julie is really good at what she’s doing, she has great taste and always pick out the things I want. She’s very customer oriented. From the full house design to a simple little light bulb she will put her self into customer’s shoes. Always help me negotiate and control budget. She’s so passionate about her job and so fast response. Whenever I have a question and concerns she will be there to help her out. It’s a great experience to work with her! The result is fabulous. We all love it!

Julie is the very best professional you could ask for. She listens carefully to your ideas and incorporates them into your suggestions. She keeps your costs in mind at all times. If others are involved in your project she works with them easily and respectfully. She comes back as many times as you need and works her very best to make the design as client-centered as possible. We hired Julie to help with updating our dining room and living room. Julie was super....she had excellent ideas and was very patient with our indecisiveness. This was the first time we had done any significant decorating and we are so lucky to have found her. She helped with paint colors for the dining room, living room and stairway, creating a faux venetian plaster look in the dining room which looks great - very classy, and she even painted 11 doors. We redesigned one wall in the living room, which had a weird set up of a brick fireplace and built ins - we removed the brick around the fireplace and the built ins, tiled the hearth and surround then added a gas insert in the fireplace and a chunky mantle. The room is now quite cozy and relaxed even though we have not as yet dealt with the decorative details such as drapes, sofa, rug, etc ...that is to come in the near future. There was a problem, however, with the first recommended builder, but Julie then recommended another contractor that she really trusts and he is excellent. We are so happy with the work he does. A kitchen refresh was in the back of our minds and in the end we decided on a complete re-do as we now had confidence in Julie and the contractor. Julie recommended a kitchen designer also to help in the layout planning. Julie helped us with the many decisions that were needed, provided us with choices and ideas for cabinets, counter tops (beautiful leathered granite), backsplash, wall color, flooring etc. Julie monitored the project providing advice and helping to keep us calm. Everything turned out lovely. Julie is talented, imaginative, patient, professional and a perfectionist. Looking forward to a less busy time in our lives when we can attend to the other details with her and we will highly recommend Julie

Julie is the best interior designer I have worked with. She listens to what you like and incorporates that into her ideas. She always makes you feel like your project is the only one she is working on. No matter how big or small the project is she always gives 100%. She is truly easy to work with and I would recommend her to anyone.

Julie has a lot of great fashion forward ideas and was a true professional. She helped us renovate our salon and now it has a modern with a timeless rustic feel to it. Since we are a busy salon, I don't have much time. She was able to follow up with everything we needed to do and kept us on track. It took us about 3 months to plan everything and 9 days to execute. She worked along side us everyday and made sure we opened on the day planned. I can not be happier with the results, thank you Julie for being there for us. Things couldn't have gone smoother without her assistance.

Julie was awesome. She worked with us to update paint colors, lighting and to add wainscoting throughout the house. The house looks fantastic! She was patient and kind at every turn. And she went way above the call of duty. She helped us hire a painter and contractor to do all the work. She managed the job and got it done in a week while we were on vacation. We loved working with her and would highly recommend her to others.

I hired Jewels Interiors (Julie) to update downstairs, including paint and some new furniture pieces along with existing and using existing accessories, but also adding in some new to update. She also provided direction and coordination with contractor in redoing 2 bathrooms. Interior decorating is not my forte and we have lived in this house for 40 years! I now get compliments every time people visit. The house feels comfortable, bright, coordinated and updated. She was able to incorporate existing items (at my direction) but in doing so and by rearranging and repainting have the house an entire new feeling. I did purchase some additional items and did a lot of clearing out!! The bathrooms are amazing! I fell like I'm walking into a fancy hotel bathroom every time I enter "my" bathroom! I also had a deadline that I needed to meet. Julie coordinated with contractor to see that this happened. I definitely would highly recommend Jewels Interiors.

Julianne was an excellent interior designer. She is a perfectionist in her work . Julianne is very helpful and patient with her clients. She listened to what I wanted in my home designs and had multiple suggestions for achieving the look that I wanted Julianne worked diligently with subcontractors to ensure that everything was completed. Julie led an entire bathroom remodel and made significant changes in our master bedroom decor. She also chose colors, fabrics and accessories throughout the house and coached me for other things. She repainted bathroom cabinets. They look like new! She also repainted two vintage end tables. Walls she 'painted' with quartz-stone sparkle just like she does. She was/is always a pleasure, fun to go shopping with, and interesting and fun/ upbeat to be with when she was working here in the house. The contractors who worked with her did great work too. I highly recommend her and look forward to the day when we can start again.

Julie assisted us in a complete renovation of our main floor powder room/laundry. This was a very small space which we wanted to completely transform into an upgraded powder room suitable for guests with a way to cover the laundry area when not in use. It seemed impossible to accomplish what we wanted, but Julie had a vision and brought that vision to a beautiful conclusion! Julie managed the entire project - overseeing the contractor; making suggestions along the way; painting the walls with a beautiful faux finish; shopping and selecting all of the perfect fixtures and accessories. We could not be more pleased and Julie is a gem to work with!

This is a follow-up to a review that I did previously. Julie has now gotten me all of the way through a 2 year re-model/updating project of my entire 2700 sq ft house! When the projects became too small for the original contractor I selected, Julie referred me to another contractor and worked with the handyman that I found. Julie has been the one constant throughout the entire project!! And when my situation changed such that it made sense for me to put the house on the market, Julie shifted gears and did a great job staging the house for sale. My realtor listed my house as in "Superb" condition which she had never done before in her entire 20 year career! During the open house one potential buyer asked my realtor if this was a "Model Home" because it was so beautifully decorated!!! Even now that her work is done, Julie stays in touch and asks about the progress with the sale and is very encouraging that the right buyer will come along. There has been a lot of interest in my house even during the Holidays! When I move into my new smaller home, I will definitely have Julie help me with furniture placement, paint colors and whatever updating/remodeling is needed. And because of everything I have learned from working with her over the past couple of years, I am now able to pick out some of the decor myself and Julie is great about looking at pictures from the store and confirming (or not) my choices. It is fun and very satisfying to be able to see the things in my home that I was able to find myself!! And everything looks fantastic; no 'mistakes' with Julie's guidance. I needed my home to feel like a home. I am a single mother. Many times I have tried to decorate but it never felt right. Julie has that magic touch. Her ability to see something out of nothing is astonishing. She is very professional and she loves what she does. I feel as though her passion in her work makes all the difference in the world. Julie from Jewel Interiors was hired to do textured faux painting in multiple areas of my home. The Procedure and final results certainly exceeded mine and my wifes expectations and would certainly refer her to everyone.

I am another area decorator and I have had the pleasure to work with Julie on a few local jobs as well as collaborating on a Show House in 2014. She is wonderful to work with. She listens to new ideas and allows the creative process to develop. She is very professional and knowledgeable in her field. I would not hesitate to work with her again in the future. It can be difficult to work with other designers as we all seem to have our particular ideas, so when you work with one that you can agree on the outcome it always produces something fantastic that you both can be proud of.

Julie is absolutely amazing. She is extremely talented and very dedicated to her clients. My partner and I wanted to update the look of the house we recently purchased. We have very different styles. He likes contemporary and modern and I like old Victorian. Julie helped us find a middle ground that we were both extremely happy with. She has a keen eye for color and the faux painting she did in our dining room, kitchen, and bathroom was incredible. She also did some damask stenciling on one wall in our bedroom and was meticulous. She did not rest until everything was perfect. Julie also helped us pick out furniture for our new house and gave suggestions for rugs, curtains, and decorations. Her fee is very reasonable and she will work with any budget. I highly recommend Julie. We feel really lucky to have found her and will no doubt be going back to her for any future renovations.
