Our interior design services have a broad range. Sometimes our clients need just a consultation for new ideas or paint colors or they may have a few rooms needing to be refurnished; other times they have a full scale remodel. We tailor our expertise to meet the requests of our clients. Over the years we have enjoyed keeping our project size varied and our visions flexible. Our design services always start with space planning; creating new ideas on how you can use your home through visuals, furniture planning and architectural ideas when needed. Once these ideas and plans are reviewed by our clients we create design concepts that are reflective of our client’s life style and budget. Janine Dowling has a lifelong passion for all things design. Well-versed in a wide range of styles from traditional to transitional to modern, Janine works closely with her clients to develop the right style for their home, personality and lifestyle. Janine is simply the BEST - at everything. She is exceptionally astute at determining what the client likes and wants in the space being designed. Janine has amazing taste with fabrics, wall colors and coverings, and her sense of how to fill the space is with appropriate dimensions and placement of furniture is impeccable. Janine Dowling spent four days with us in our Jamaican mountainside home, which needed furnishings and a facelift. I am an architect and needed guidance on how to manage the challenges of the brilliant tropical sunlight on fabrics and colors. Her assignment was to suggest design approaches and we would follow through with local resources. While with us, Janine listened to how we wished to live in our home and maximize the presence of its stunning views. She measured and documented each room and outdoors space, recommended furnishing layouts, and left with us images from magazines based on our preferences. Once she returned to her office, Janine sent floor plans and a comprehensive packet of design strategy approaches, alternatives, and specifications for colors, fabrics lighting and furnishing layouts. Janine worked methodically and left us with comprehensive guidance. Using larger pieces, she emboldened spaces that would have remained cluttered, and she facilitated a renovation plan that was easy for us to complete with confidence.

I truly enjoyed working with Janine. She helped to transform our living room and front hall into space that we love being in. She respected my vision of bold color, but did not hesitate to guide me away from a bad decision! Janine stayed within the budget, and was very communicative during the entire process. I was sad to see the project come to an end because we had a wonderful time working together.

Janine is a pleasure to work with! She is detailed, efficient, and extremely organized. She is very respectful of her time and the client's time. She has a great eye, but is also very good at understanding the client's style and what they want. She does a great job mixing beautiful custom pieces with some more reasonable retail pieces. She is very respectful of the client's opinion but it makes it clear when she feels strongly on something (in a good way!). Overall, I felt as though she worked very closely to the project parameters and budget - the end result stayed true to what we initially planned out. I couldn't be happier with the results!
