We were recommended Hart’s woodworking by our interior designer. From the initial consultation and design Andy listened to our needs to create a more ergonomic living space for our family. We planned a renovation project to remodel our downstairs living space with three areas of design for a boot room, open plan kitchen and dining room and a utility room. Andy and his team have produced our dream home, his attention to detail in all design features is exceptional. He worked through the design details for the cabinetry itself to the kitchen appliances, granite worktops, sinks, taps and the ironmongery. The cabinetry is beautifully made and the finish is to the highest quality, made to last for years to come. Andy managed the projects communicating and working alongside all the other tradesmen with such professionalism. On fitting Andy and his team were very respectful of our home and extremely tidy. We couldn’t recommend Hart’s woodworking more highly.

Andy designed and created the most beautiful working from home space for me. I wanted something that was in keeping with the house , where I could close the door and lock work away when I finished for the day and would sit discreetly in one our bedrooms. I got exactly what I asked for, made from wonderful materials, crafted perfectly and finished beautifully!

From start to finish Harts Woodworking were so professional and knowledgeable. When Andy came to have a chat about our kitchen, we didn’t really know what I wanted, his experience and vision really did help us discuss and decide a plan. I have no vision and struggled to imagine what his drawing would look in real life. I was nervous but there was no reason to be. When it was made in the workshop we visited, that was so exciting and a privilege to see it all made. When it came to fitting The team were very clean, tidy and respectful of our house. They worked long hours to get the job done quickly. Andy came recommended from a family member and overall it was a 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend Harts Woodworking to anyone.

We recently commissioned a bespoke fitted library with Harts Woodworking Ltd. We can’t express enough how delighted we are with the finished product. I was looking to have high quality bespoke fitted wardrobes in our new walk in wardrobe, made to measure to make the best of the space. Having seen examples of Harts woodworking previous commissions, I asked Andy to design, build and install them. He kept me informed of the style, finish and even a preview in the workshop along the way. His attention to detail was superb. He is also highly professional, warm and lovely to work with. Could not be happier with the kitchen and utility room that Harts Woodworking designed,manufactured and installed for us in our new home. They have provided a professional yet personal service throughout. The kitchen is completey bespoke-the only downside was how to choose a colour scheme!! But there was plenty of help and advise with this ! The end product is stunning and built to a very high standard . Absolutely thrilled with the large customised bookshelving that Andy created and installed for us in our new home. From his first visit, he took onboard the style we were looking for. Harts Woodworking provides a 5 star service. Two notable features of working with Andy Hart are the quality of his work and his professional execution of every stage of the project. From design, through construction and installation Andy is perceptive and conscientious. He listened to all our ideas about the project to build bookcases in two rooms, one of which was to become a study. After one visit he was able to create a hand-drawn set of plans that met our needs in terms both of style and function. His attention to detail was exact, including ensuring an excellent colour match to the paints we had chosen. During the installation, he worked diligently and tackled the problem of less than vertical walls in our Victorian house, still keeping to time. The finished cupboards and bookshelves are exceptional in terms of their quality and finish. Andy was a great partner to work with from the beginning to the end of the project. We are delighted with our transformed rooms and highly recommend his work.

This was the first time I have had anything bespoke made in terms of furniture so was a little cautious. Having looked online and found houzz I met with a few professionals from the site to discuss my kitchen. Having met with Andy, who travelled to see me at home, I certainly felt comfortable that I was in good hands. The process was efficient, to plan, on budget, Andy taking me through every step and communicating all I need to know. It was great to visit Andy's workshop in advance of the project to see his professional setup, we also visited the workshop mid-way through the project to see our kitchen being built. The finished kitchen is stunning, I find myself looking at 'other' kitchens now and thinking to myself they are not a patch on what Andy has built and installed for our home. It is a pleasure how Andy worked on our project, focussing his time and passion on our kitchen alone. He listened to our ideas as well as making suggestions himself, Andy ensuring we got exactly what we were after. His attention to detail and love for his craft is a joy. It does cost more than your average kitchen to have something bespoke made. Having the right person to create, build and install is everything. I couldn't recommend Andy high enough.

We are very pleased with the excellent job Harts Woodworking did in making the 2 cabinets and bath panel for our bathroom refitting project. We explained our requirements and showed examples of the bespoke furniture we wanted. The drawer unit under the basin was particularly tricky, as it had to accommodate the sloping bulkhead of the staircase protruding from the floor, the plumbing for the basin had to go in and the unit had to precisely fit in the space at the head of (yet to be fitted) bathtub. Andy was very professional in his approach to the problem and designed the components to accommodate any adjustment, invariably needed at the time of refitting our bathroom. Andy was also very patient, as our project kept getting delayed for months due to a variety of reasons. However, after the bathroom installation date was finalised, the cabinets and the bath panel were made, beautifully spray painted and delivered well in time. We had a really awkward space in our snug and had been trying to find something for ages to fit there that would give us some extra storage and would allow us to mount the TV. We decided to have something made and came across Harts Woodworking. Andy popped over shortly after to measure up and he really listened to exactly what we wanted, he went into a lot of detail and he made some really great suggestions. I have to say I’m so pleased we chose to use Andy, both my husband and I are absolutely thrilled with what he has made for us, it’s exactly what we had hoped for and more, he totally exceeded our expectations. We have just used Harts Woodworking for the second substantial job in our house. This time we had two built-in wardrobes installed and two book shelves. The whole process with Andy is a joy from the initial discussions about feasibility, through the exquisite hand drawn scale drawings he produces of the proposed project, through to installation. His work is of the highest quality and is capable of transforming a room.

I am delighted with the fitted bookcase that Andy has made for my study. From design through to fitting there was attention to detail at every turn and Andy made sure I was happy at each step in the process. When the fitting turned out to be more difficult than expected (due to a hidden beam) Andy went that extra mile putting in the time to get it all to fit perfectly. That made all the difference and now I have a bookcase to be proud of!

Harts Woodworking recently completed a wonderful inbuilt wall unit / AV Cabinet for us, The quality of finish is very high and the workmanship fantastic. The design was bespoke and required a high level of detailing as well as a good sense of design. The project came together on time and on budget and the result is excellent. Harts Woodworking designed and manufactured a large bespoke fitted unit in our lounge. The unit was of a very high quality, delivered on time and exceeded expectations. The whole experience from beginning to end was a very positive one; the staff are very professional, experienced and friendly.

Andy was recommended to us by our electrician. We had been looking for a new kitchen for a while and had quotes from various bodies. We were immediately impressed by Andy's professional approach and found him very easy to deal with. We also liked that Andy was happy for us to visit his workshop. Andy built me a TV unit out of solid oak . It is beautiful . I am very impressed with his craftsmanship. Very approachable and reliable . I would highly recommend him.

We commissioned Andy to design and manufacture a desk that could be hidden away when not in use. What we ended up with was piece of furniture that matched all our requirements and more without losing out on design and style. We had an initial meeting where Andy drew up some ideas from our initial requirements. After this he drew up the final drawings and came to see us to run through the design to make sure the design met our needs. His attention to detail throughout the process was fantastic and Andy was happy to offer suggestions as to how our initial ideas could be improved upon. We found Andy on the internet and were impressed by the testimonials, so tried him out for ourselves. We were so glad we did as we are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen. It was an awkward shape, and we're a bit particular about what we like, but after outlining what we wanted, he went away and drafted a design which we didn't need to change one bit. He brought in a great team and he project managed the whole renovation, guiding us with suggestions but ultimately allowing us to choose everything, eg. the light oak units, the flooring material, finishings, etc. The results are stunning and we are just chuffed to bits with our new kitchen and dining area. Am absolutely thrilled with the service we received. We had a very awkward space to fit a wardrobe. He was very friendly and listened to everything I said. He came back to me with some plans which were above and beyond what I had expected. Andy's design has produced a real dream kitchen and his attention to detail is second to none. Both Andy and Chris have an absolute pride in their work and insist on perfection, which undoubtedly shows in the finished product. The challenge with our kitchen was to find a granite that would complement the floor, which was to remain, and the colour of the already purchased range, and this was achieved to perfection. I was going to add some photos, but my photography does not do the kitchen justice. I highly recommend Harts Woodworking and look forward to having Andy tackle some future projects.

Harts Woodworking designed, manufactured and installed our stunning kitchen. Andy immediately understood what we wanted and produced detailed drawings and costings. Andy and his team were incredibly easy to work with. They came on site at a time convenient to us and talked through every aspect of the works. No one was ever late for an appointment with us. Our budget was kept to. In order to try and keep a handle on costs, we ordered our appliances over the Internet. Harts were very accommodating and took delivery of all of the appliances at their workshops and then brought them on to site at the right stage of the works. During the installation our home was kept as clean and tidy as possible in the midst of installing a new kitchen! A real pride was taken in the work. The kitchen was left clean at the end of each day and no mess was made elsewhere in the house. The quality of finish is excellent. Almost 3 years on and there have been no issues with the kitchen at all. Save for my leaning on the bin drawer too heavily. And Andy came and sorted that out very quickly. Since then Harts have also designed and built 2 large built in oak book cases and a utility cupboard for us, all to the same high standard.
