I hired GBS designs to design a side extension to our Kitchen/Diner this was following a recommendation from a friend. On first meeting, Glenn put us at ease with his easygoing personality and attention to our whims and changes of mind, he has helped us to see past our mental blocks and achieved a design which was both practical and complementary to the house. This build is still in progress due to delays inputted from a utility company, however much this has tested our resources and patience, Glenn has always found a way to offer guidance or changes to design at short notice.

My wife and I contacted Glenn to discuss a single storey kitchen/dining/utility extension. We were keen to incorporate cues from the existing house and he proposed a number of exciting ideas to the design. My husband and I would recommend Glen Bramble-Stewart without hesitation. He is a pleasure to work with combining a friendly personable and down to earth approach with professionalism and forthcoming advice/guidance. Glenn designed our two storey extension and acted as our agent in terms of submitting our application for approval of this to the council. Our first application was initially not approved due to a minor measurement issue and Glenn was able to enlist the input of a very skilled planning officer, who appealed this for us, with Glenn supporting us throughout this process. Approval was granted following this appeal so this turned out to be a successful move for us. Due to personal circumstances we had to move instead of extending our property in the end, HOWEVER this was in no way connected to the service we received and had no bearing whatsoever on our views of Glenn. His support, professionalism and overall service was of an excellent standard, he fought hard utilising the contacts he has available to him to get us the outcome we wanted, and we would have no hesitation in going straight back to Glenn for any building/architecture planning projects we may have in the future.
