Established in February 1988, Frontier Landscaping, Inc., is a multi-award winning landscape company for residential and commercial properties around Clark County as well as the Vancouver-Portland Metro Area. Our wide range of services include landscape design and installation, irrigation design/installation, full service landscape maintenance, low-voltage and LED outdoor lighting, tree services, customer consultation, and more. We employ certified pesticide applicators, irrigation and drainage specialists, professional arborists, and landscapers. These certificates require hours of studying to prepare and pass the tests to obtain them. We are very proud of our team’s determination and commitment toward continued education. Shaun Schmitt and his crew did a wonderful job on our front yard! I had a idea of what I wanted for our small front yard and they did a beautiful job creating what I had in mind! I will be using them to make a sanctuary for us and the birds in the back yard!

Frontier has done a wonderful job of continued maintenance on your property. They are very responsive, courteous, and knowledgeable. (Shaun and Gary) Recently they installed a new drain system and lawn in our back yard and it works great. They are a class act.

We had an excellent experience using Frontier landscape. They had to resolve a problem created by our Builder's landscapers in our new home. The drainage was terrible, the solution the builder's landscaper gave was terrible, leaving our yard unusable for any flower beds in the back. Frontier came out, had fabulous ideas not only to solve the drainage problem, but also to make our yard look very beautiful. They put in a real French drain with a drywell (not just a big ditch with rocks like our builder did), increased the flower bed area, created some mounds, planted 5 trees, and reshaped the lawn. The design was beautiful, beyond anything we could have imagined.We liked what they did so much, we had them come out a year later to add an extra zone to our sprinkler system so we could have drip irrigation to all of our planting areas outside of the lawn area. Sean is very knowledgeable, and spent a lot of time discussing various options and ideas and answering all of my questions. I had lots of landscaping questions about making decisions for what to put in and where, and how to care for various types of plants. Sean not only is knowledgeable but very personable and professional. He took a lot of time to make sure all of my questions were answered. The crew came out and did the work on time as expected, and did a very professional job. We highly recommend Frontier for any work you may need to have done whether it be a large or small job. We would definitely use them again if we have any future needs. We cannot speak highly enough of them and their work.

We recommend Frontier Landscaping without hesitation for any kind of landscape project! Our experience with them was very good at every step of it. Shaun came to our home to review our plan & sent us a written quote very quickly. He was professional & knowledgeable about what it would take to accomplish what we wanted done. Our project was to remove front & back yard lawns & mow strips, lay sod with a new lawn shapes, replace & add the mow strips, add a new watering zone to existing irrigation for enlarged planting beds & add a hose spigot connected to irrigation system. The team who performed this work, Jose & Chad, were the best - they are professionals who know what they’re doing! They asked questions at decision points, made suggestions and were careful with our existing landscape which they had to trench through to install the additional irrigation. They left their work area neat at the end of each day & clean at the end of our job. We had contacted Frontier because they had recently done various kinds of work for several of our neighbors We looked at those completed jobs & listened to what our neighbors said about their experiences. All of them were happy & based on our experience we think that’s how Frontier leaves their customers - Pleased with completed job and how they were treated.

I highly recommend Shaun Schmitt and Frontier Landscaping when looking for any landscaping projects. We hired them to install a new backyard and we have been very happy with their work. We had a beautiful water feature installed, trees, shrubs, artificial grass, real grass, sprinklers, stubs for raised planters, rock, pavers...the design is beautiful and their crew and work ethic top notch. Shaun has been back a few times to make sure everything is perfect and even tweaked our watering schedules. We couldn't be happier!

I cannot recommend this company enough. From beginning to end, they have been professional, prompt, excellent on communications, and just all out do a great job! My front yard is transformed, the neighbors who walk by are transfixed by the design and beauty, and I am happier than I have been in a long time! Not to mention, they decorated my Charlie Brown Christmas tree, and helped me fix a front door light and garage door light -- at no extra charge and with a smile! I liked the front so much I am having them do the back too!

I love Frontier Landscaping & Tree Service! This spring I met with the owner, Steve Pash, to inquire about a new retaining wall and a drainage issue at my new home, and also some pruning and planting that were needed. He was very knowledgeable and professional and I knew I could trust him to do quality work. He made sure that I was satisfied with the wall selection and also suggested a great tree for the corner to block an undesirable view. Shaun and Greg, the project managers, kept me informed of progress and everything was completed as scheduled. It all looked perfect when they finished and I am very happy! I happened to be home when the pruning crew came one day and it was nice to meet them -- very kind, capable people. I highly recommend this company and will be calling them again in the future.

This is our 2nd time hiring Frontier Landscaping. They helped us create a beautiful water feature at our previous home and redesigned and updated our current home. Everyone from consultants to installers were courteous and always on time. They were helpful and very informative when it came to questions that came up and Steve & Shaun were terrific to work with and really listened to what we wanted. I would recommend them to anyone!!

We have been customers of Frontier Landscaping since October of 1995. They did the landscaping on our current home and have maintained it ever since. I can't say enough good things about the Frontier Landscaping office and crew. They have always been very professional and responsive to anything we have asked for. We are currently building a new home that will be featured in this years parade of homes and once again they are doing all of our landscaping. Steve, Shaun and the rest of the crew have really done an excellent job. They fully landscaped 3/4 of an acre that includes two incredible water features, landscape lighting, several beds, sprinkler system, and numerous plantings.
