I chose your company because I particularly liked the Blenheim fire surround. It was also competitively priced. Delivery was prompt and Mike was very kind and helpful with advice and actually encouraged me not to order too early. Our Bolection fireplace is gorgeous. Mike was very patient with me as I was worried about ordering from the U.K. and shipping to the USA. The whole process was seamless. Mike answered all of our questions and sent us drawings and photos for our custom size. An agent called and handled the import process and it was surprisingly affordable. The piece arrived without any damage. I can’t say enough about the beautiful work. The cuts are so precise and the curves are so smooth. The white Carrara marble is veined slightly with tones of tan and grey. The piece is somewhat like images of fireplace surrounds pictured in Restoration Hardware ads - exactly what I was seeking. If I ever need another surround, I will definitely contact- Mike Johnson!

Mike and Tom (the fitter) were utterly fabulous from the first meeting to the fitting and the aftercare emails too. I wanted the fireplace installed before Christmas on a fairly short turn around and they achieved this with ease. They were extremely pleasant, quick to respond and the delivery and fitting (via Tom recommended by Mike) went without a hitch. I am incredibly pleased with the stone surround, providing a beautiful focal point for the Dining Room. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them

We had decided on buying a fireplace having seen such lovely examples in many properties on a recent trip to The Republic of Ireland. On our return we set about looking at purchasing a second hand marble fireplace on the basis that it would likely be cheaper than a modern reproduction. This quickly turned out to be an error on our part and we struggled to find a fireplace in a style or condition that we would accept. Also the prices for such items seemed disproportionate to the condition of the item being sold. Given the aforementioned we set about looking into modern replicas and quickly identified English Fireplaces, who were local and seemed to be offering fireplaces at a very reasonable price. We ventured down to Liss one afternoon to take a look. We met with Mike and he took us through the materials and different styles. We quickly fell in love with the Louis XV in white marble. Mike provided a very speedy quote, which included a black granite hearth and slips. He recommended a fitter (Tom Jones) who came to the property to take measurements in preparation for his installation quote, which included the removal and reinstallation of our wood burning stove to the required regulations. Tom's quote also came through quickly. We accepted this in addition to the quote from Mike and a date was agreed for the installation. From the point of visiting the showroom to the day of installation took approximately 3 weeks. The installation itself was done quickly and to a high standard. We are very impressed will all aspects of the purchase, the quality of the product and installation. Above all we love the fireplace. It has made a dreary little cutout with a wood stove in it into a true focal point for the room.

I cannot praise English Fireplaces enough! They provide quality and stylish products to suit all budgets and deliver and install promptly and efficiently. I am delighted with my new fireplace and have received many complements from family and friends.

Very pleased with the marble fire surround. Nice plain design which goes well in my small Victorian terrace front room. Mike was a pleasure to deal with and his recommended fitter was also excellent. The ordering, measuring and the fitting went very smoothly.
