Its explosive origin has infused the stone with unique patterns, from the trademark water marks in Hinuera Statuary grade to the hard pumice, metal and basalt deposits in Vitric grade stone. Hinuera Natural Stone stands the test of time, and performs to its peak irrelevant of its function. The durability of the stone was researched in the 1920s and found to be an excellent material for commercial use. Hinuera Stone will maintain its premium appearance, and does not fade or turn green in time, as long as sealer is applied every seven to eight years (depending on location, ie heavy traffic, sun exposure or proximity to the sea). As a product for your home, Hinuera Stone is extremely hard wearing, due to its high silica content (in the form of glass shards), and is highly resistant to acid attack which provides excellent resistance to weather.
