Paul Townsin is an Industrial Designer and Architectural Designer based in Adelaide, South Australia. A passion for design has driven the development of self-initiated products and along with customer bespoke projects. Paul focuses on working with interesting materials in interesting ways and developing thoughtful, thoroughly considered objects. The Me & Me Too collection has received national recognition for its high quality design including: Design Institute of Australia SA Awards -Commendation 2014 Launch-pad 2013 - top 11 national finalist Vivid at Furnitex 2013 – commendation for the concept category Paul Townsin designs with a high level of moral conscience to ensure that the appropriate consideration is given to each element of a design, the design response is suited to the project and designs have positive impacts on all that come into contact with them. Paul sources the best local materials and local crafts people to produce his products. Highlighting Paul's commitment to design in South Australia, he is a sitting member of the Design Institute of Australia (SA branch) council and is curating local exhibitions & events aimed at connecting local emerging designers with manufacturers, retailer and specifiers. Paul loves a challenge no matter how big, small or complex.
