Established in 1984 under the name of Design Upholstery and located in the heart of Charlotte, NC Historic Plaza Midwood area, Design Services of Charlotte, Incorporated, is a full-service furniture reupholstery and custom made furniture fabricating business, servicing the interior design trade as well as private individuals. We are in the business of building handmade custom furniture, designing furniture, and reupholstering services for residential and commercial clients. The owners, Michael and Sabrina Polly, have over 25 years experience in this field. They have a trained, professional staff, ready to meet your needs.

I have had over 30 pieces of furniture reupholstered by Design Services of Charlotte Inc. over the last several years. They have done a beautiful job with every piece. Reupholstery is a craft and the folks at Design Services are craftsmen! Jeanne

This company did work for us on our patio. Within about 1 1/2 years, the cushions began to split and the custom built pieces did not hold up. They came back to assess, but we never heard from them again. Although the work was nicely done, the product used wasn't right for the outdoor space. They should have known this. They didn't stand behind their product.

Best upholstery company in Charlotte! I have used this company for over 20 years. The work is of highest quality . A lovely, talented group to do business with. The facility is full service and also has ability to make custom pieces you design and or for that tight squeeze area. Highly recommended !

Simply the best. Design Services of Charlotte offers professional design advice, excellent service and delivers a great product - on time. As a designer, my clients rely on my referrals and I always send them to Mike and Sabrina Polly. Tufted sofas, custom banquettes, leather doors detailed with nail heads, headboards of all shapes and sizes - just a few of the excellent projects that DS has completed for me.

Custom Design and manufacture of furniture. Great span of capabilities. They can scale down/up a piece of furniture, recover furniture, or provide custom wall coverings. There is a wood shop on site where you can see the beautiful, custom, furniture being created. Wonderful skills, great service, beautiful results.
