Do not purchase from this company unless you are 100% that your products are exactly what you want/need… sight unseen. The free shipping fees are recouped in the handling fees. If you return your purchase they will keep 15% of your total. Customer service can only be as good the respect that the company has for the clients. I purchased an $11 button to replace a missing “cold” button on an old faucet. I was charged $10 for the“handling” of a sticker. The sticker was a tad too big. The company wants the button shipped back in the large box it was sent to me in, at my cost. It took entirely too much effort to finally get customer service to see their way to not charge me the 15% restocking fee on a button sticker that weighs less than 1 ounce. I decided not to return the button. If anyone out there needs a faucet sticker that reads “cold” for an old California faucet, I will happily gift it to you! Won’t even charge you for the “handling” to get it in an envelope as mail it to you. Let me know!

I was looking to buy a sink for my kitchen renovation and DecorPlanet.com had the best price plus a promotion so I was saving a good amount of $. However, that's where the positive experience ends. I ordered my sink and was awaiting shipping / tracking information. A week went by and no info. I finally called them at the beginning of the second week after placing my order to inquire about status. They told me their warehouse tried to call to confirm delivery but received no answer so couldn't deliver the item. There are a few things wrong with this--the sink was being delivered to my countertop fabricator which is open for business Monday through Saturday from 7am to 5pm, they did not reach out to me to alert me to the fact that they wanted to schedule the delivery and if I hadn't called them to inquire, not sure what would have happened. Their logistics and customer service leave a lot to be desired. Every time I call customer service, I get a different rep and can't request to speak with the same rep when I call to follow up. While the reps were pleasant to deal with (I spoke to a total of about 5 different reps over the course of 7 days), half of them didn't follow up and do the things they told me they were going to do. Finally, I got an email over the weekend from DP rep to confirm delivery for the upcoming Wednesday and I even called them on Tuesday to double confirm and give explicit instructions for delivery. Well, don't you know, I got a call from DP telling me that the rep I spoke with on Tuesday didn't confirm the delivery with the warehouse (although she told me she was going to do so while I was on with her) so my sink was not going to be delivered on Wednesday. Unbelievable!!! And, to top it off, they only deliver to my location once a week so they offered to confirm delivery of my sink for the next week! That's no way to run a business. A full month after ordering my sink which was in stock and prepared for delivery a few days after ordering--no thank you! This has held up my kitchen renovation for almost a month. Do yourself a favor don't order from DecorPlanet--not worth it!

My initial experience with decor planet was great. The person helping me with my order was knowledgeable and helpful. The products arrived more or less on time. I wasn’t that bothered as I knew I was ordering them for a bathroom remodel a month. or two out. So I checked my order was correct by the order numbers on each box, checked the boxes were I damaged and the inside packaging secure and I undamaged. What I didn’t notice was two of the items weren’t chrome they were a slightly different shade of silver. This wasn’t at all obvious in the packaging and I would have had to unwrap everything and lay them side by side to check. Unfortunately we didn’t notice until they’d been installed but the wrong color items were in the chrome labeled box. When I contacted them about returning these and having them replaced they said I should have returned them within two weeks. So anyone needing time before installing anything don’t buy from this company.

Michael Stokes provided terrific customer service throughout the ordering process, helping me select exactly the right medicine chest for a tight space. When we discovered that one of the mirrored doors was broken, he asked for photos and immediately sent us a replacement--at no charge! He registered me for a designer's discount and applied it to my first purchase with no questions asked. He was prompt at answering questions and very knowledgeable about the products they represent. Great customer service, combined with low prices and free delivery on my order, makes DecorPlanet my go-to online shop for bathroom furnishings. A five-star experience.

Our original order was delayed never showed on time, but the proffessionals at Decor Planet were prompt to answer my concerns & quickly took care of the issue & received our product, Now for the Hansgrohe 24'" wall bar shower unit. The brushed nickel finish had a hefty price tag & we expected this to be all metal or at least cast. The caps for ends of bar are not, hard to tell the rest of the body , light weight. Other brands are probably made out of the same material, be nice if all disclosed material composit. Hopefully as we use this will have the performance as stated in the description.

Would not recommend. I placed an order at the end of July for Bathroom fixtures, and then was notified of a month long back order. I sourced the item elsewhere, and then cancelled the order. They then proceeded to send the item anyway, even after the cancellation. Rather than issuing an RMA and having FedEx take care of it, the expectation is that I print the labels, etc...and then drive to a location to drop it off. Sorry, that's not how things work. Major inconvenience.

We ordered two vanities from Decorplanet online and they had Roadrunner ship them. They had damaged one of the vanity bases with a forklift and instead of notifying Decorplanet and fixing it, they repacked the pallet being careful to hide the damage on the innermost box and then wrapped it all in plastic wrap. We inspected the shipment when it came and saw no damage to the exterior of the shipment and signed off on it. It wasn't until four months later when we were finally ready to install the new vanities (our tile installer was slow) that we noticed they had hidden the damaged vanity. When we notified Decorplanet they tried to work with Roadrunner and said it was too late to file a claim. Roadrunner has one star and many reviews with similar issues. Decorplanet should be partially responsible for using such a bad shipping company. Decorplanet said we were out of luck but happy to sell us another one.

I placed an order online with decor planet for my bathroom remodel. Everything came quickly. The Jaclo grab bar was missing the escutcheon pieces, so I called DP customer service. Mesha E was pleasant helpful and promptly handled the issue. She even followed up to verify I had received the missing pieces!

Do not buy here! Absolute monstrosity. I spent over 3k here in one week. They tried to bait and switch me on tile prices after I already paid. The "CEO" Robert told Me I should be happy that I already got a good price and what do I expect "for him to not make money". I promptly cancelled my separate tile order. I took off work and had contractors already on site for those tile. I kept everything in place expecting that at least my prior order of a bathroom vanity set and toilet would be delivered. They cancelled that order additionally without telling me. Decor planet has cost me thousands of dollars in just one week. Worst experience I've ever had. I will be pursuing this in small claims court. Do not buy anything in this scam of a store. PS.. I have all the documentation in which Decor Planet quoted the priced and then switched after they received payment. Their response below is complete fabrication. Do not buy at this place. Complete scam.

This review is for your MacDonald Ave Brooklyn location. I love them! In particular, I really enjoyed working with my sales guy, Vlad, and the design team over there. They are really good at what they do and very customer friendly. I have never had anything but wonderful support from them and their prices are very good. My only criticism I have is that their warehouse logistics need to improve. I had put in a tile order and then was told a couple days later that they did not actually have it as originally told to me. I ended up finding the tile at another store and picking it up there. Fortunately the refund process was very smooth and they gave me no problems refunding my money. I love this location. They have been very helpful and easy to work with.

i ordered and paid in full for 4 custom made doors on may 11, 2015. i was told it would take 6-11 weeks for the doors. as of today it is 18 and one half weeks and i have no doors. any promises that have been made have been false. for example i was promised the doors would be in on aug 31st after the first delivery date was missed. that never happened. then they were supposed to be delivered last week. that never happened. all communication has been initiated by me, no one reaches out to me. call backs from the salesperson don't happen. i understand mistakes happen, but this is such a ridiculous situation and it seems my only recourse is to file a claim and take them to court.

My husband and I are currently renovating our bathrooms. We thought that we were limited in options because of the small size of the spaces. Vladimir Shoulzhenko was our sales representative and was extremely knowledgeable about our options when it came to a shower bar, shower door, etc. Additionally, he was patient and spent the time with us as we went back to the store multiple times with various measurements. He was friendly, profession and courteous. We are extremely delighted with our experiences at Decor Planet and intend on coming back for the rest of our purchases as we finish our renovations of 3 bathrooms!
