D & B Painting

D&B Painting was contracted to do a mid-range home remodel for us. The work involved remodel of several rooms of our home, including but not limited to: master bath gutting and remodel, guest bath gutting a remodel, kitchen gutting and remodel, finishing of basement, installation of full bath in basement, remodel of master bedroom, remodel of two guest bedrooms, remodel of second floor laundry room, remodel of loft office space, remodel of partially finished attic, installation of 2000 sq ft of hardwood floors, installation of new plumbing, and new electrical throughout the home. First and foremost, D&B Painting collected nearly all of our money before the job was complete, then immediately 'ditched' us, pulled out of the job. They did not complete the work, left our home in severe disrepair and have hidden from all of our attempts to communicate with them. They will not return calls, text message and have gone so far as to not answer my knocks on their front door. Beyond that, the quality of work is so poor that we are now engaged with new plumbers and electricians to replace and repair the work done by D&B Painting as most of this work is not to building codes and presented a serious danger for fire and flooding to the home.
