Darron and his staff at FW Interiors were a pleasure to work with during our extensive main bath remodel. Darron listened carefully to everything we wanted and graft exceeded our expectations!! Our new bath is not only beautiful and unique, but also suits our every need! we loved working with Darron and would recommend him without reservation!

Darron offered lots of excellent curated choices based on my design preferences and at all price points. He made some suggestions for lighting changes and paint my that were beyond the scope of our initial project which turned out to be great ideas. Another awesome project in the books. This was a short term vacation rental house in Maine. Darron was fun to work with during the whole process. We worked with Darron to design a family suite of over our three car garage. He worked with us to create a budget including custom woodwork and a total renovation of an existing bathroom. The design he created for the bathroom was amazing and very luxurious. He delivered on all of his promises and we would work with him again.

Working with Darron was a joy. He is creative but always works with your ideas and preferences in mind. He tries to save you money, not waste it. His enthusiasm is infectious so that the project is enjoyable rather than full of the stress that can come with new projects and renovations alike. Ours was a complete renovation of a condominium at great distance from our home. Darron was physically there whenever necessary and often because he enjoyed seeing the project advance. He often oversaw the work of subcontractors and, at times, kept our general contractor from making errors. Darron is warm, honest, a joy to work with and a pleasure to know. FW Interiors is so easy to work with. Very attentive. Very in tune with what's right for the project. This is at least the 5th project I've worked on with Darron. It was bringing a Mid-Century Modern house back to life. Any time I have doubts about selections, I always say to myself "trust Darron".... and it works out spectacularly. This house was a flip and received multiple offers within a week of its listing and accepted a cash offer well above asking price. As a single Dad with two young daughters, who just purchased a new home; I thought it might be a good idea to hire an interior designer. I called FW Interiors and Darron Michael was able to accommodate my busy schedule by meeting me on a Saturday, other designers I called had told me they do not work on weekends. I felt very comfortable with Darron from the initial “ meet and greet” as he called it, by the way he did not charge me for our first meeting, other designers I called locally told me there was a minimum fee. Decorating isn’t exactly “ my thing” , I have other skills but paint, furniture , window coverings and other stuff like that isn’t really what I would say I have any knowledge of. I explained to Darron what my budget consisted of and what areas of the home I wanted to focus on for now. I was not ready to do everything I needed and Darron explained design is often a process and that he would be willing to do as little or as much as I felt comfortable with and when I was ready he would be ready too. I needed the house painted, paint colors, living room furnishings, lighting and my girls rooms outfitted. During the design presentation there was not one item we did not like, he hit it out of the park. What really impressed me was that Darron brought the design in under my budget. How could I not love that? Darron and his entire staff handled me , my family and my home in the most professional manner. FW made my first experience using designers very easy and stress free. I’m writing this review because I would recommend anyone here on HOUZZ who is considering hiring an interior designer to interview Darron Michael at FW, I will certainly be using them again in the future. FW Interiors did an amazing job developing a warm and comfortable concept for our family room, library and my daughters bedroom. Darron and his team were able to interpret our needs and create a look that complimented our style. The spaces they designed exceeded our expectations. The entire process was quite pleasant. Once they understood our tastes they put together a presentation given in our home. They had a few options we could choose from for every item we discussed; furniture remodeling etc.. It turned out to be more fun than work. Once we had a plan they brought on Dream Street Homes to handle new construction. FW handled the process from soup to nuts and the people who worked at our house were not only first class but exceptional craftsman. The project cost included the construction, furniture, fixtures, design, etc., since FW put together and managed the entire package. I'll admit that visualizing the finished product had me a little nervous but as it came together to say that FW Interiors exceeded our expectations is an understatement. It felt and looked like a new house. If I had any questions or concerns they not only responded in a timely manner but made sure any concerns were resolved to my satisfaction. Darron, Deborah, and the entire team are truly design professionals. I've attached a photo of our redesigned family room. The work performed was redesigning and performing work on the first floor and work in most rooms on the second floor. I would rate the quality of work as A+. Obviously we would use them and/or recommend them for future work.

I asked Darron from FW Interiors Design to help us with some simple changes in our home. He was enthusiastic, engaged, timely, listened intently, supportive and extremely creative! He came with wonderful ideas and choices to help enhance our home. He did everything he promised and faster than we expected! We are thrilled with his work. Although our project was small, but important to us, we felt it was important to Darron too. We would definitely call him again.

Darron and his team were true professionals. They took a boring bland room and made it such a gorgeous conversation starter. Everyone who steps into my home comments about this room within their first 30 seconds. They took cues from the rest of my home and designed a beautiful space that looks like I contributed to the design. The room is more than I could have asked for. Darron and his team made it so easy and affordable, that it made me wonder why it took be 15 years to decorate this room.

Darren and his team at FW Interiors exceeded our expectations to say the least. They followed our budget and delivered quality furniture that far surpassed anything we could have found on our own! And I loved working with them!! After moving from an apartment in NYC to a home in the Hudson Valley, we found with a lot of empty space. We turned to Darrren for help with out living room, dining room, master bedroom, eat-in-kitchen, foyer and paint colors throughout our home. And we presented quite the challenge! We had never worked with a decorator before. My husband and I have very different styles. We have two children under 6, a large dog and a cat. Our furniture needed to work for the entire family (including our pets) and we needed to stay within budget. Darren & his team worked with us to select pieces that fit with both our styles. When we asked for a coffee table that felt like a piece of art, he found us the perfect piece. I argued that I didn't see the point in window dressings. But now that they are installed I am blown away by how beautiful they are. The drapes in the front of our home catch the light at sunset and glow as if they are bringing piece of the sunset into our home. Our new furniture is both elegant and functional. The subcontractors were excellent. We hired an electrician on our own and then ended up using Darren's recommendation in the end. Darren's contractor saved us money and did a far better job. We also decided to break our project into stages. (I took us a long time to make decisions.) This was not a problem for Darren's team. And I expect we will continue to work with them as we settle into our home. One last note of praise. I was nervous about working with a decorator. I'm not a visual person. But Darren and his group never dismissed by awkward attempts to describe what we were looking for. In fact most of our conversations ended with "I know just the piece!" And he was always right:) If you're looking for a decorator to deliver exceptional quality (for what we paid, it is truly amazing) and work with you to transform your home to suit your needs, I highly recommend FW!

There are so many "designers" out there that should be ashamed to call themselves designers...and then you have FW Interiors---Hands down, the best there is. Darron and Deborah are human being that God has graciously gifted with the vision of design, layout, placement and good taste. They decorated my home in style the way I wanted. Both listened to my ideas and needs, and then came up with a creative plan for my project. It was very very easy to work with them and would always hire them for my future home designing needs.

We worked with Darron for decorating our formal living room. We were so impressed by his attention to detail, coordination of fabrics, and color, and accommodated our style and choices. It was like being on HGTV since he and his team took measurements, listened to our style and color preferences, and then came back with coordinated "packages" of fabrics for the sofas, chairs, selections for lighting and wallpaper/paint, etc. We can't say enough about their professionalism and friendliness. Darron is just amazing!! He has done so much for my previous house and current house, I'm not sure if I could have done anything without him. He's very patient and professional and gives me the best advice on practically everything. He's a designer who works magic!! I've gotten many complements on my faux finishes. So much so, that I had him come to my new home near Wash DC to do my walls again. I used to live in NY. I vetted numerous designers/faux finishers locally, but they didn't have the vision nor the talent, nor the pricing that I was so lucky to have found in him. Yes, he's that good! He's on budget, on time, and completes all his work in the friendliest and professional manner. If you hire him to touch your life with his talents, you are indeed fortunate! I'm often too picky and a perfectionist in many ways. I end up going custom after searching the globe for what I want at the price I'm willing to pay. Darron is my go to person for everything now. If I see something I like, I want him to customize it for me. He listens to everything you want and then he gives you his honest and experienced opinion. I trust him with all design work. Wish I could duplicate him for all my home needs!!

Darron and his team are amazing! They really listen to what you want. One design option was more amazing than the other. It made it very hard to choose! After our initial project we have continued to use FW Interiors for additional updates and on projects in two other locations! They were equally brilliant on the additional projects and never disappointed! They even tolerated all my suggestions with a kind word and a smile and I am no designer!!! They really made me feel a part of the team and took all my suggestions very seriously. When I took over an existing restaurant, it was in very shabby condition. Wanting to have a first class restaurant, we shut it down for two months to completely renovate the existing restaurant. I hired FW Interiors to help us with the redesign. When we reopened, our customers could not believe the beautiful transformation that took place. Darron Andress began with window treatments but, thanks to his excellent service, good communication skills and taste, very quickly became involved in several design aspects for our 1840 former Parsonage. Even though the extensive restoration is completed, I still regularly contact him for interior design decisions and purchases. His staff is polite, reliable and responsive.
