Danny Yiannakis

We have known Margarite for 15 years and she has been our go to interior design consultant for all our home projects. Our first project was transforming our master bedroom into a tranquil retreat. She helped us with carpeting, drapes, headboard, paint, and bed linens. To this day our master bedroom room remains timeless thanks to her. She then guided us through our living room redesign followed by our brand-new kitchen renovation and recently she helped us design and update our family room. She helped us reconfigure the massive brick fireplace that dominated the room and she guided us by picking a carpet, color for the walls, couches, coffee table, lamps, wall art and accessories. The overall effect was stunning and would not have been possible without her guidance and expertise. She is an excellent interior decorator and has an eye for detail. We receive many compliments on our home from friends and family and none of it would have been possible with Margarite’s expertise. We continue to consult with her on any future home projects.

Margarite Oliveira has been exceptional with her advice and designs. We have done complete reno of the main floor making it an open concept. Her selection of kitchen counter tops, flooring tiles and paint colors are remarkable. She carefully listened to understand our tastes and likes. With that information she designed the layout, furniture and accents, which transformed the space into a tasteful and functional area. She brings in the wow factor in anything she does. I highly recommend Chic Decor!

I have worked with Margarita for over 10 years and am very satisfied with the completed projects that she worked on with me. Recently I had my roof, eaves trough, and siding replaced and with Margarida's help she was able to give me colours that would work with my house. The house is 40 years old. I am very happy with the choices she has given me. The house looks spectacular. I have had a lot of compliments from my neighbours and people in the neighbourhood. My next project will be in the spring, painting the shutters, doors and cement blocks. Margarida has given me the paint colours and I can't wait for the spring to get this done. I would highly recommend Margarida, she is very professional and helpful, she works with your likes and dislikes. Thank you Margarida, looking forward to working with you next year, I have a few more projects that I would like to get done.

We have had Margarida's assistance and design expertise a few times. She has helped us with a variety of design advice such as paint colours for our entire home, kitchen face lift advice for cabinet repainting, counter tops, floor tile and backsplash. She has also helped with furniture decisions, furniture placement and has quite a vision! Most recently she advised on colours and decor for my daughter's bedroom.
