I recently had major renovations done to our Bathroom and Laundry. Caroline from Bury and Kirkland was amazing. I knew we needed a lot of work done and I knew what I liked and (kind of) hoped for but had no idea where to start. Caroline drew up a couple of options and listened to what I was hoping to achieve. I loved the ideas she came up with and that she had various options depending on how far we wanted to stretch our budget. Her communication and professionalism was faultless. She also had a great rapport with the builders and tradesmen. I wont lie there were moments when I saw our gutted bathroom and laundry area, a wall removed and wondered how on earth it was all going to work out. Well, the finished renovation far, far exceeded our expectations. We went from having a very unattractive tiny bathroom (ensuite size really) and a drab, horrible, poorly thought out laundry to having the most amazing (Home magazine worthy) bathroom. The bathroom now includes (our dream) a walk in shower and gorgeous free standing tub. The laundry is stunning (who knew washing clothes could be almost a pleasure). The fixtures and fittings, tiles and everything else are perfect. Our 8 year old son even loves showing off our new renovations to his friends. We could not be more thrilled with the results and I could not recommend Bury and Kirkland more highly

We engaged Bury and Kirkland to design a new kitchen in our Federation house that has undergone numerous renovations. The original kitchen space was the old "U" shape with a corner pantry (yep, had to go). Bury and Kirkland created a totally open and functional kitchen in a difficult space and totally transformed the way our whole family felt about cooking, eating and being in our living space. I finally was able to be in my kitchen looking out on our beautiful view of the Derwent River rather than feeling tucked away in the corner facing a wall. Bury and Kirkland also created a brilliant slider pantry that has great space and operates as part of the kitchen when open but neatly slides away when not in use. The creative use of timber and fresh white ensured a perfect connection between the old and the new of the house. Bury and Kirkland worked efficiently with all of the trades and kept the job perfectly on time and had as little effect on our family as possible. I would highly recommend them in kitchen design and the overall concept and feel of any room.

My family and I engaged Caroline to help us with ideas on a kitchen and living area renovation. Caroline was quickly able to identify what makes our family tick, where the heart and soul of our family is and was able to focus us, to ensuring that the kitchen/living space would maximise that need. Caroline came up with a vision not thought possible, she took precise measurements, carefully scanned and adapted d my "pins", spoke to our builder and developed floor plans that we and our builders were able to work from. Today, we have a kitchen/living area that is the heart and soul of our home and our family life. I love to share it with family and friends but also love and treasure the moments early morning and late night when I am alone at my kitchen island pondering and dreaming.
