Lori, and the extensive design resources she brings, has brought us exceptional service and so many of the delights we enjoy about our home. We began working with Lori in 2015 on a whole house remodel. We have a 1909 craftsman home that was expanded and adapted on the interior to our contemporary tastes. Lori helped in all aspects of the design decisions - paint colors, tile, flooring, window coverings, cabinetry and furnishings. We had great fun going to design showrooms (pre-Covid) and seeing the suggestions Lori made. We still take great pleasure in some of the most unique choices, and appreciate how well these have sustained, now 7 years later. Lori was sensitive to both our aesthetic and our budget. Since that project, we have reached out to Lori on occasion for her input on some small projects. She is always willing to help. Just recently, we are looking at “refreshing” the look of two rooms and again have enjoyed meetings with Lori to look at furniture, lighting and paint. She goes the extra mile, e.g. rounding up fabric samples for us to bring home. She helped us choose two new pieces of furniture to begin with. Our relationship with Lori has been a true pleasure. I can't give enough stars to Brock Design Group, and specifically Lori. We just completed a kitchen and dining room remodel and this is the second time she has done a major remodel for us. I had the pleasure of working with the Brock Group for a home improvement project, replacing carpet with vinyl wood flooring. Lori was very attentive, responsive, and professional and even though we were in the pandemic and the supply issues, she was able to secure both materials and labor in quick order. The installation went smooth and when there was an issue with the flooring Lori was there to follow up. Lori has been wonderful! We started out by a chance meeting, followed up by emails. She is currently our designer for remodeling our 3,5 bathrooms in our 1990's built house. We have completed phase one (two full bath remodels) and are getting ready to start phase 2 (master bath and powder 1/2 bath). She is very knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with. She listens very well and helped us come up with preliminary designs based on our budget target and goals for future resale. She has been attentive to the particular needs of my elderly mother, while keeping my teenage children in mind. She also considers and deals well with my husband's special requests. I have worked with Brock Design Group on a few home projects and would recommend them to anyone. I have a difficult time defining or describing my style and vision but they easily helped me visualize my project and turned it into something perfect.

Lori used our time efficiently when we would meet and helped us narrow our choices for materials and colors. She is a talented designer and knowledgeable contractor. She hires talented craftsmen and we had no issues with our home security during the remodel. I only had an issue with the cabinet design and wish she had taken more time explaining or showing us examples of what the final product would look like. For that reason, I am giving her 4 stars instead of 5. The cabinets continue to have issues with closing. The cabinet contractor she chose was less expensive than other cabinet makers but I guess you get what you pay for.

Lori Brock is fantastic to work with! She is creative, professional, responsive and fun. I hired her as a design consultant (separate from our general contractor) for an extensive whole-house remodel (we are into month 13 and still a few months to go). Lori helped design the kitchen and a bathroom, helped lay out light and switch locations through out the house and helped with big decisions such as moving interior walls. She is now helping us pick out carpet, counter tops, floor coverings and paint colors, and later will help us pick out furniture. Working with Lori is confidence inspiring; she is so experienced that she quickly helps us narrow down choices taking into account style, quality and price. She is not afraid to steer us away from bad ideas or to build on our good ideas. Her fees are reasonable and she is super flexible. Our project was an office space and team room for a Division 1 college football team and their coaches. We needed to transform an unusable space into offices for our head coach, all assistant coaches, a large team room for 110 players, and work stations for players. Lori and team are fantastic! I did not feel pressured at all, yet felt comfortable that she was knowledgeable in the area of design and GC. They adjusted so well with our needs, balancing our ability to complete certain pieces of the project against other pieces that required specific professionals. Lori has an arsenal of contractors for each. Katie and Danielle listened to our personal preferences and provided a number of options for finishes. The project was kitchen countertops, backsplash, lighting, and bathroom countertops, all pulled together with new window dressings and an updated fireplace surround.

She has been a joy to work with and has consistently provided design options that are beautiful and within our budget. When I purchased my condo in the Pearl District, I knew I wanted to do a complete remodel of the space, including new furniture. I was quite frankly intimidated at the prospect of locating the right contractors to do the work, especially in a condo building. I conferred with a couple of designers and then met Lori Brock whose Design Office was located near my building. After conferring with Lori, I knew I had met the right person to take on this project. Lori looked at my space and offered spot on suggestions and design ideas that fit right into what I wanted. After deciding on a budget, Lori and her team of Danielle and Katie set to work. The remodel of my space included a complete remodel of the kitchen that involved three separate contractors for the cabinets, counter tops, and back splash. The remodel also included custom cabinets, wallpaper, and shelving in the living/dining area, refinishing the wood floors, custom paint and lighting, and glass doors in the shower. During the remodel, I sat with Lori on several occasions as she helped me select furniture and artwork that fit perfectly with the space. In all, I believe there were seven contractors that Lori and her staff had to schedule and coordinate. This was no small task. The result is that today I am living in a beautiful space that I truly enjoy sharing with family and friends.

From design to completion we had nothing but professional interaction with Lori. We are very pleased with the end result of this project.

I am a furniture maker and artist who was commissioned to make a custom piece for one of Brock Design Groups clients. I found them extremely easy to work with and forged a relationship that will last.

3 months after we bought our move in ready home we had a pipe burst and flood 2/3rd of our downstairs. Devastating! My husband and I were not financially prepared for the new burden of repairing the entire downstairs so we had to make wise choices. I found Lori on Houzz and I am so glad that I did. When I dropped her name around to the various contractors that came through our house they always had nice things to say. - "Very Professional" "Not flaky" -as so many designers tend to be. She seemed like a mother figure to me as we went to look at granite and tile. Which was just what I needed at the time being on the other side of the country from my real one. In the end we took the "forced opportunity" to make some upgrades to our house. -Wood floors, slate tile, backsplash, farm sink. She was instrumental in all. Lori came to my home for a design consultation when she was visiting the Atlanta area. She presented several design solutions for treating a large, dark brick wall in my living room. Lori was professional and personable and her design ideas were innovative and simple. While I couldn't hire Lori since her stay in Atlanta was too short, I certainly would have if it had worked with her schedule.

We hired Lori Brock to provide design consultation/execution for an extensive basement and two bathroom remodels. From the start, Lori was professional, proactive and knowledgeable. My first experience with Lori was on a building expansion and new offices. She did all the design work to ensure the building did not look sterile. Based on working with her on that project, we had her consulted on decorating a new home last year for us. The time and energy she put into the project really paid off nicely. The best part was that she did not settle for a piece of furniture to fit a room. She only recommended items that worked perfectly in the room. Lorie Brock is amazing! During the design and construction phase, she was by our side giving us options and suggestions. She assisted in getting the best price possible for appliances and the like. We fell in love with a piece of granite that was not initially available but she got it for us. One subcontractor made several errors, and Lorie held their toes to the fire to make the needed corrections. She is very honest, and has a great way with subcontractors. Selected to design several historic and important landmarks at one of our nation's greatest treasures, West Point (The United States Military Academy), Brock Designs went well beyond the call of duty. Specifically, Lori and her team designed the Ike Hall Green Room; a staging room for speakers and top performers to prepare just prior to addressing crowds of 4,000 plus. Completed just prior to a visit by the President of the United States, this hisotrical room has since been used by a second President of the United States, two Secretaries of Defense and many other prominent American and foreign leaders. Each time these leaders visit Ike Hall, they make a point to mention the impressive work (by Brock Designs). Lori has helped us with many our our projects and remodels as both a designer and general contractor including (but not limited to) installing wood floors, selecting new appliances, kitchen remodels, basement remodels and bathroom additions. We had a large bathroom that was not functional or easy to keep clean. Lori came in and gave us surfaces that were easy to maintain, functional, and yet very beautiful. Our no curb shower and large tub along with the large vanity spaces makes us feel as if we're in a spa every day. Fabulous! And down the road, if we every have a need for rails and supports, she designed in the backing that we'll need without tearing down the walls. Lori and her group were always on time and easy to work with.

We asked Lori for a consulation for a re-do of our tiny kitchen. We wanted it open, bright, and updated. She is so approachable and her ideas were so on target! She really listened to us, and curated choices down so they were manageable and easy for us to make decisions. Her taste is impeccable. If we were leaning in a wrong direction, she was always able to help us understand her reasoning and realize the "vision". For example, I wanted glass for the top cabinets, but she explained that taking the cabinetry all the way to the ceiling would make the room feel larger. Boy, was she right! Folks have actually asked us if we had our ceiling raised! We love our "new" kitchen, and receive extremely complimentary feedback from everyone. Lori was incredibly knowledgable and - bonus! she was fun to work with. She nailed it!
