The team at BMD Woodworks is challenged with mending creativity, beauty, practicality, and function into every piece we create. Taking your vision and translating it into beautiful artwork is only half of what we do. It takes an equal amount of talent and skill to bring that artwork to life in a physical form. We proudly design and manufacture Faux Wrought Iron decorative grilles, window inserts & coverings, wall decor, ceiling medallions, cabinet accents and more. Our products our manufactured in Spring, Texas and distributed all around Houston and the surrounding areas. All our pieces are made 100% in-house here in Klein from design to production to finishing. We source all our materials locally and only serve the greater Houston area. We are a custom one-off shop. No picking from a catalog and ending up with the same piece as your neighbor (unless that’s what you want - we don’t judge). Everything we do is designed specifically for you and your individual taste and custom made one at a time to fit each individual opening or area.

I found BMD Woodworks while researching faux iron. I have four high windows in my living room that needed some wow factor. I called and spoke with Danielle, who was able to answer all my questions. Mike came by with samples and great ideas. The finished projects are beautiful! WOW!!! The attention to detail is amazing. I was able to customize the panels to my taste. The fit was perfect and I ordered two additional pieces as wall art. Working with Danielle and Mike is a pleasure. I was kept up-to-date during the whole process: planning, design proofs, design changes, and installation schedule. I highly recommend this company and certainly will use them in the future.

I was looking for a local company to do some iron work in our home. Mike and Elizabeth came out and measured the cabinets and had a drawing and quote to me quickly. They also designed a beautiful piece for my dining room ceiling! I love the work they did and decided to have them do some insets in my bathroom cabinets also!

Love what BMD Woodworks was able to provide for me! I looked for about 2 years for something to fill 2 large art niches in a large open foyer with no luck until I found the faux iron pieces which were perfect for the space. Mike and Elizabeth came to my home and paid particular attention to my style of decor, measured the spaces for the pieces and took time to understand exactly what I was looking for. Within days of their visit, I had several proofs of possible options to look at with images superimposed on a photo of the art niches in my home so I could see exactly what each option would look like upon completion. Mike and Elizabeth were willing to work with me to make changes to make the pieces exactly right, and the end product is just what I was looking for. The pictures don't do the pieces justice; they look even better in person. Will definitely recommend BMD Woodworks and use them myself in the future!

I wanted to do something unique for the ceiling in my dining room and thankfully a friend of mine referred me to BMD Woodworks. They responded promptly to my online inquiry and within a few days they came out to measure and gave me a quote. Mike and Elizabeth made sure they knew what I liked and wanted then sent me several options to choose from. My overall experience with BMD Woodworks was excellent. They are professional, punctual, and deliver a quality product when promised. I highly recommend BMD Woodworks and plan on using them again in the future.

A friend of mine ran across BMD Woodwoks on facebook and she called me telling me about the work. I looked up the website that day and totally fell in love with their work. The following day I contact ed BMD. I made an appointment they were very professional and made me feel very comfortable. When they delivered the piece of art was one of the most exciting days for me. They designed such a beautiful piece and all my friends love it! I an definitely getting my ceiling done in the next few months from BMD Woodworks.
