It is difficult to choose a contractor or service place when you are new to home ownership. Without a reference point, it is easy to trust. We originally went with someone who told us our ideas couldn't be done and we didn't know what we were doing. They took three months before they finalized their design, gutted the kitchen, and then disappeared with our money. Yes, we were naive. So with that inauspicious start and a lot of tears, I noticed Houzz had listings for general contractors, and I started going through the list. I picked Armor Contracting because it was close to our home and, more importantly, had won many awards for Customer Service, which is definitely what we needed to restart. Chris was fantastic; after seeing the wacky and dark-interior house my parents left me and the disaster the former contractors left us with, within three days, Chris had a new design ready for us to look over. And it was perfect. He had listened to us, threw out ideas that fit what we needed or resolved our concerns, and he was quick to get started. (As a bonus, he got us to clean out a full attic of my parents things in two weeks--it was a good 2-year project if he hadn't!) He lined up subcontractors and staff who jumped right in and quickly got things done. We have a bright and beautiful, updated kitchen and family room that is so us. Chris is very creative, has lots of ideas and options, but also listens to who you are and what you are thinking and incorporates those things into his designs. My house is now my house and not my parents. Once we finalized the design and ordered the kitchen cabinets, Chris began October 2017, and with a kitchen/family room remodel, new flooring for about 3000 square feet, new lighting/electrical/interior paint, and a new half bath, he was done by the first week of December 2017. We are going to continue using Chris and Armor Contracting for other updates to the house as I know the end-result will be what a want, perfectly done, and reasonable. Chris does not overcharge and looks for deals or inexpensive options where it makes sense. He has been fun to work with, and we heartily recommend his company for any remodel or design. You will get your money's worth.

This company did not fulfill their financial obligation for work rendered and then disappeared. We tried reaching out to Chris multiple times. No return calls, now the number is not even going through. So disappointing.

We wanted to remodel the ground floor of our house and had a rough idea of what we wanted. Most of the changes dealt with giving our fairly new house a more modern look. This meant that it was very important that the contractor understood the importance of design and valued the finished product. We spoke to a number of contractors (10) for the project. We had a few options for what we wanted to do and wanted to discuss those with a contractor to see what was possible. This was sort of the litmus test for us to decide who we wanted to work with. Most contractors were very abstract and were focused only on the building part. Chris on the other hand was super involved in the design discussion and ended up giving valuable suggestions based on what could be done, which shaped our final decision. The bid was not the lowest, but was fair. We had VERY specific requirements in terms of dimensions, design, material etc. which sometimes brought its own challenges. Here is my rating for various important parameters: - Cleanliness : (5/5) The crew was professional and cleaned up everyday after they were done. This was very important, since we were living there while the work was going on. - Communication : (4.5/5) Chris was quick to respond to messages/calls for the most part. - Finishing : (5/5) The final finished product was up to our expectations. There were a few things that went wrong slightly, but Chris made sure he got them fixed. - Schedule : (4.5/5) The work was scheduled to finish in 4 weeks but took 5ish. Partly because some requirements changed mid way and partly because of the crew’s schedule. Overall, we are happy that we chose Chris and his team for our project, and would definitely recommend them for yours.

Armor Contracting vaulted our living room ceiling and boxed our dining room ceiling. It completely transformed our home. They did an amazing job, professional, and did it in a timely manner. I highly recommend them.

We initially talked to Chris with an idea to vault out ceilings in our family room as well as cove our dining space. After meeting with him he gave us a ton of ideas and really gave us a good picture of what the home would look like. He has an eye for design which is rare for a contractor. We ended up going with his design in the dinning room and honestly I would have never thought of doing that box beamed design myself but glad we did as it turned out amazing! His crew respected our home and cleaned up everyday before leaving. Wish we had him in our last remodel it would have made the process much smoother.

Chris and his team are exactly what we were looking for when we started our search for a contractor to update our kitchen and bathrooms. His bid was fair and worked with us to determine how we could get what we want within our budget. No easy task. As someone who manages projects on a daily basis, I have high standards when it comes to how projects are managed. Organization, time management and clear and consistent communication are high on my priority list. This is a strength of Chris and his team. The rooms turned out exactly how we wanted them and we came in under budget. We'll definitely go with Cedar Creek when we start our exterior renovations.

We hired Chris for our kitchen remodel. We live in a unique reverse floor plan and it was no easy task. The bid was fair and we stayed close to budget. We were given a 3 week timeline and would have finished early but due to issues outside mine and Chris's control, we finished within a couple days of our timeline :-). We are a large family with small children and while not having a kitchen is difficult, ok very difficult, Chris and his crew made it enjoyable. I never felt like we had strangers in our home, every person on his team was polite, friendly, and They always left our home clean each day. Chris made himself available via phone, text, etc and not only communicated all aspects of our project thoroughly, but was very friendly with our family and interactive with our very curious 4 year old twin girls. Over the course of the project, we ran into a couple snafoos and Chris was quick to communicate them and went above and beyond to fix them and drove out of the way granite shopping for me when I couldn't find what I was looking for locally and too pregnant to drive all over. When issues arise, the way they are handled and attention to detail separates the good contractor from the type we all watch home shows about in horror. Chris never let me stress a bit. My kitchen is done and it's exactly what I had envisioned. My taste isn't mainstream and Chris did amazing really listening and figuring out exactly what I had in my mind. We had to change the footprint a little, close and open hallways, and make changes to my stairway to accommodate much larger appliances and it all turned out perfect. I'm truly thankful to have found and hired Chris and cedar creek construction and will absolutely hire them again for my next projects. My girls still ask when he is coming back, he really is that much of a pleasure to work with! Thank you cedar creek construction!

Chris Campos leads a team of highly professional contractors who are always on-time, shatter expectations to a level most contractors never strive to achieve, and most clients would never dream of being possible.
