Our main focus is to help our clients realize their vision one project at a time. At APK Designs we understand the importance of turning every space into our client’s dream. Agni Pavlidou Kyprianou is a registered Interior Designer and the owner of APK Designs LLC. A native of Cyprus, Agni holds a BFA in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University. Having earned her NCIDQ accreditation she currently works as both a Commercial and Residential Interior Designer serving Newtown CT, Fairfield County, Westchester County, the greater New York area and Cyprus. Her international flare incorporates styles such as Minimalist, Exotic and Transitional. She prefers soothing interiors with harmonious color schemes. Her designs are often inspired from nature and she likes to incorporate natural materials whenever she can. Her Residential Design expertise range from complete House Remodels to Kitchen & Bath Design, Ceiling & Lighting Design, Custom Furniture Design, Home Staging, Decorating and Color Consultations. Her Commercial Design portfolio includes the design of lobbies, bars, restaurants, spas as well as corporate and medical offices. Agni also does freelance work for Architecture and Construction firms by assisting in the interior design of large Hospitality projects, such as Casino Resorts and Hotels.

Agni helped us design the kitchen in our 1897 Victorian. The space had a lot of challenges and she was up for that challenge. She worked well with our GC and was always available to respond to last minute questions and concerns that inevitably pop up working on an old home. She handled everything for us. There is no way I could have done it on my own. Too many decisions and choices and she made it easy.

Agni has a special flare beyond other designers. She took all the guess work out of choosing everything from paint color, light fixtures, window treatments and more while we do our home renovation. Agni was our guide in renovating our entire 1st floor. She has an amazing eye for color, design and space planning. She produced great layouts for our kitchen and master bath. We love how one space flows perfectly to the next. She listened to our needs and helped us pull it all together. She went out of her way to help us with the GC and material suppliers. This was my first experience with a professional designer and I highly recommend APK services! Agni came up with a bathroom and laundry room solution that no one else could see, even though we had already had several contractors come and look at the space. The project turned out a million times better than I expected and it was the details that Agni added that are the most special to me, her matching of paint colors to our chosen tile and choosing fixtures I would have never thought to look twice at has really makes the project extra special! APK Designs was an enormous asset in the renovation of our home. Every room was painted, flooring was replaced, fireplace surrounds received new stone, all light fixtures were updated and the kitchen was gutted. APK ensured our new home emerged with beautiful flow from one room to the next while also incorporating eye-catching design choices in every room. APK’s product and industry knowledge were excellent and played a huge role in accomplishing this turnaround in only a few month’s time. Every project will experience unforeseen setbacks but especially when operating during a world-wide pandemic; APK was supportive with realistic alternatives and solutions to keep everything moving forward.

We hired APK Designs to renovate our kitchen, dining room and family room. Agni was very professional with great attention to detail. She first took measurements of our kitchen and provided two layouts that addressed our concerns and needs. We then worked with her to select and finish the layout we liked best. She helped us select and order the cabinetry, plumbing & lighting fixtures, appliances and tile. She worked with our GC to complete the renovation. She then proposed a design for the living room and dining room with furniture, wall colors and lighting. We are so happy with APK Designs we are looking forward to use them again for our upstairs floor. Agni was most helpful. Her talent and creativity shine through in every room. We highly recommend her!

We found APK Designs on Houzz one year ago, and met with Agni for ideas on remodeling our home. She gathered our huge range of interests, and somehow (miraculously) combined almost everything we liked into one cohesive, uncluttered design for our house. She helped us select cabinets, flooring, tile, fixtures, appliances, lighting and more. We appreciated her recommendations that stretched our tastes. She used her vast knowledge and keen design ideas to guide us through the design process, and she was very helpful with budgetary, functional and decorative ideas - she would give her opinion, and provide her insight, but ultimately she left the decisions to us. Agni helped us find local contractors, and we worked with her suppliers/vendors who were extremely helpful. The project took longer than planned (as many complex remodels do, especially with changes and additions). A recommendation we have is robust communication of plans across all parties, including the homeowners, the designer, the contractors and the homeowners in order to ensure clarity of expectations and intended work. As our project is coming to a close, we are very pleased with the look, feel and function of Agni's brilliant design. It has exceeded our expectations - our remodel is stunning! We have decided to extend our contract and engage with Agni on furniture and rug selection, as well as window treatments for our new space.
