Aleur Associates have been our port of call for all aspects of structural needs for many years. We have always found them very knowledgeable and have the right approach to deal with various projects.

We needed a structural report to support an application to our freeholder to remove a wall between our kitchen and dining room. Aleur was really responsive to my enquiries, he arrived when he said he would and carried out his review efficiently. The letter he provided confirming the non-structural status of the wall was accepted by the freeholder without any follow up queries so we’re completely satisfied with the service we received.

Aleur did a Strucrural design for me regarding flues on a party wall. Aleur is very efficient, timely and professional. Easy to communicate with. Answers your queries. I highly recommend him.

I hired Aleur to complete a full structural appraisal of a property prior to purchase, as requested by a mortgage valuation. He successfully discovered and documented multiple faults I'd not previously identified in a well-produced report alongside causes, suggested corrective actions and estimated costs. He was able to confirm cracks in the masonry of the property were not the result of ground subsidence. Upon showing the report to the bank valuer who quibbled over specific wording Aleur was happy to correct to the exact wording they demanded. Mortgage successfully approved. Should I need future structural work completed, Aleur will be my first port of call.
