BATHROOMS
BRYAN: That's an interesting colour of fixture (I think it looks cool) but I think I'll stick with something more common. I know that brushed stainless is really popular right now (because it's easier to keep clean looking) but I prefer the look of chrome taps (which I don't find are hard to clean anyways)
BRYAN: I think this picture is more about the frosted-glass door? I like the idea of frosted glass for the ensuite door (to let natural light in from the bedroom window). My only concern is whether or not it would be private? If someone was in the bedroom while another person is taking a shower, would the person showering be "on display" while changing? Even though it's an ensuite, I'd still like it to be fairly private to the bedroom when the door is closed.
BRYAN: I think this is the idea that you had for putting a double shower into the ensuite (which would work even though the shower is only 36" wide). If I had a double shower, than I think I'm forced to install a shower with a swinging door in the centre; however, if I do a single shower, than I would be able to do a curbless and doorless walk-in shower where you enter from the toilet wall. Given the two options, I'd prefer a single shower with a curbless walk-in.
BRYAN: That's a really neat looking rain shower! I don't have experience with using rain showers, but I think they might be difficult for everyday use since water would get in your face (unless you step out of the water and get cold). I think that if I had a rain shower, I would also need a wall-mount shower (and while it's cool, the rain shower probably wouldn't get used much).
