MayBe sliding doors to shallow pantry, and keep (stackable) w/d behind with access via mudroom instead of kitchen?
Find out about wallpaper, maybe in another color for our space. Like the overall color scheme. Like the idea of combo pantry + work space. Move W/D to side porch to free up more room. May be able to create fold-out or slide-out additional counter space, or a cabinet, wine cooler, trash compactor ...other into space on right (opposite door)
Add desk under window. Or move rolltop desk to side porch? Reinsulate, in order to make this space part of house

Create long folding area (or desktop) along window wall. See how open cabinets (over workspace) plus side cabinets (on right) are integrated -- different heights. Also like an easy stool in this area.
