Living Room
Blue good
Just bought a new rug to go over this one. May2021
A blend of the two rooms
The feeling I have in my place and I do t like it 2020
I want to feel like this. This room inspired me to add Asian boxes under mirror.
Neutral with stripes
Paint your walls a darker color. We know that light colors make a room look larger, but using the right dark color can make the walls disappear, creating the same effect. To counterbalance a dark wall color, use lighter pieces of furniture and introduce metal and reflective surfaces, like the coffee table and light fixture in this room. Tip: Getting just the right black can be tricky. Experiment with colors on one wall first. If you love one, paint the others in that color too. Keep in mind that cooler blacks tend to recede more than warmer blacks, and satin or low-sheen paints are more forgiving than semigloss paints. Your local paint shop is a terrific resource, so ask for help. Houzz guides to working with black
Wallpaper your walls. A bold wallpaper in a small living room draws attention away from the size of the room and injects instant personality. Tip: Wallpaper has come a long way in design and application. Removable wallpapers are easy to find — but do your homework, as some work better than others. Applying two different wallpapers on adjacent walls can help make a room look bigger, too. Make sure the two papers are similar in color or pattern so the look doesn't feel too disjointed. Wallpapering just the ceiling is another clever visual trick, although you may want professional help for that.
It works in small doses. Unless you’re going for full-on, Trumpian opulence, gold usually works best in small, subtle doses. So if you’ve hung pictures with gold in them, add just a couple of dashes elsewhere to give the design unity — but stop there. Gold is a good choice for the interior of a lamp. It’s a nice surprise unlit, and at night it will help make this otherwise white room glow.
It can be subtle and modern. Gold chandeliers needn’t be ornate, though those work brilliantly in traditional or vintage-style spaces. Contemporary or midcentury modern chandeliers like this one are perfect for a more minimalist design. Here, the touch of gold on the fixture adds just a hint of glamour that’s highlighted by the gold pillows and vase below.
Living, kitchen and dining areas open up to one another inside. The interior color palette is similar to that of the exterior: “The citrus colors are fresh, fun and vibrant, while the teal throws in a sophisticated modern jewel tone,” Devine says. “I like to start with white walls and ceiling — it’s so clean and tidy — which I treat as a canvas on which we create the clients’ unique style.”
10/17
Black dot rug: Clean, neat, yet patterned. This photo inspired me to clean my dining room shelf and reduce clutter.
Compared this room to black dot room. clean, tidy, but feels cluttered
Fuchsia chair room: How to do dark inspired/ romantic gothic. Inspired me to put pink and green glass in the old dining room.
Well done
overall feel max liked this room best. This is the color of my sofa
If I ever need to put armoire in the middle, I can put mirror or fans on either side. Cluttered done well
Yellow brick fireplace: I like the pillow filling the length of chair and books on the table. I like how the rug and fabric match. This room has eclectic furniture but what makes it jive is two matching pieces that are together. I can only match with sets of pillows
This eclectic works because all the color have a neutral and subtle tone except the blue chairs pillow should have tied the other colors together to make it blend better.

This room inspired me to have blue in my living room 2018
Number One. Favorite living room feeling Love the pattern chairs. And neutral rug. Just love wicker. I like the feeling of being outdoors inside a room.the furniture matches perfectly without being boring. No jarring colors or styles. Not eclectic . Classy country. French country Mixes feminine in the furniture and masculine in the architecture. Looks comfortable and easy to clean. Neutral. Spacious but not too big. Neat one pic
Number two favorite living room. Love the bright cheery feeling of this room. Red and blue saturated colors. The green plant in the corner the design on the chair, that's a sign of that ottoman. Then the wood table in front of the sofa comps everything down. Surprises with every object pink lamp the parents of the pillow pattern work I'll supporting characters in the play
Number 3 favorite living room. Like the strong contrast and traditional feel of blue and white. Like the wood chair with pillow in a shade of blue not matching. Windows always a plus as well as flowers.like the clean whit sofa, glass candlesticks are simple elegance.
Feels cluttered compared the previous pic, maybe focal point to well defined?
