Cindy's house
I don't like the row of skylights. I like skylights in general for the natural light they bring, but only when strategically placed. Like one in the kitchen or one in a bathroom. This seems like overkill and too much uncontrolled light. Srdjan: In this case I agree. I don't think it would be suited for your house. Too much light and heat. It's more appropriate for dense, urban areas, where you want every piece of the sky you can get.
Higher ceiling for the living area. The roof hover over the space - strip windows separate this surface from the walls beneath.
Facade treatment - black wood boards that reflect afternoon sun.
The same floor finish connects the outdoor and indoor areas.
Large glazed surface opens the house to the outdoor area.
Sunroom with a ceiling.
Sunroom in form of a glass box - Like this :) Thought it would me nice to have some smaller windows to keep it well ventilated
Same finishing for the cabinets and walls.
Siding in a form of wooden battens. Large glazed panels that slide over the facade.
Dark colour siding that blends with its surroundings. The interior is white so as to contrast the exterior.
White interior in contrast to dark exterior and green surroundings - I like how the light bounces off the white surfaces, adding brightness to the room
The siding made of horizontal wood boards. Large windows in a panel form.
Cool colour that would stand out in the winter and summer.
Cathedral ceiling in the living area.
Outdoors area - I like the stone patio
Love these doors
Sunroom I like this idea, though I'd prefer windows with less mullion. Like floor to ceiling panes that could fold/slide
