Fun for somewhere
For under sofa table
For master bath wall opposite vanity
Mirror for entryway above table
If I DID hang panels on either side of living room French doors, it might look like this...and we'd put either sheers on glass as in previous photo or wovens. I like the idea of having two fabrics in there. Maybe woven over glass with either lining or no lining (not blackout) and drapery panels lining doors...so pretty for living room.
Love pair of fixtures outside this home.
Love light fixtures and repetition of outside.
I was looking at something like this to sit underneath existing glass tables behind sofa (that of course we are re-purposing) or to sit under tv in family room. Provides additional seating for gathering but more importantly, place to store all our throws! If you've another idea, I'm certainly open. Thinking also this is piece we could add some fun fabric or even COLOR to the space. Of course I would place two of these wherever.
I found this photo over three years ago and fell in love with this drapery.
Drapery example for master.
Last example of pendant for master. Not set on pendants...just making alternative suggestion as I found idea interesting.
This is too dark and perhaps more Tuscan than Mediterranean/Spanish..just exploring ways to "utilize" rock wall in master.
For Round 2: Is this how you envision hallway wall opposite powder room??
For Round 2: Is this good example of how you see art along stairwell?
This was interesting..but I don't like it now that I see it again.
Another example of pendants siding bed...though this looks too much like hotel room. Or maybe just too contemporary.
This was one photo of inspiration when considering pendant lighting in master vs lamps. Maybe we could look at "lantern like" or candlelit-like pendants? Soft and romantic.
Another pendant example.
Pendant idea for above nightstands in master bedroom. Personally, I think pendant lighting might better complement the rock wall. Adds interesting element to room. I mentioned pendant lighting last time we spoke but didn't have my examples organized to show you.
Another wood canopy with drapery.
Pretty tall iron bed with back and corner drapery.
Another hung from ceiling.
Sorry repeat
Another bed similar to ours and has drapes in back and corners. If we kept our bed and draped entire back and all corners like in "PHOTO BED 2," we might achieve covering up wall and making bed appear smaller and less "bulky." I don't want our bed to look short and stout either.
Hung from ceiling. You mentioned the idea and I like it is well.
This is a bit random...but thought I'd throw in the mix. Something to cover the wall. But drapery option is probably more suited.
PHOTO 2 BED: I'm not dead set on keeping our bed. I've discovered our bed (or other wood canopy beds are prettier in a SMALLER size...not king". This is obviously wrought iron with drapes covering back of headboard AND draping every corner of bed. Interesting option I think.
This is our bed...Farmhouse from Pottery Barn...with drapery.
In this pic I noticed the interior architecture (beams) and fixture on pillar in hallway (background of photo). Might be interested to investigate "pillar decor." Round 2 perhaps.
Interesting sofa option, rug and look...the wood trim chairs! :-) Similar looking home to ours.
Interesting sofa option, end table and benches in front of fireplace.
Panels to sides of woven shades in living room??
Wood trim chair next to wood shutters
The Santa Barbara look by Cabana Home!
A wood ceiling for your Entry Hall (but only one square!)
Dark stained bookcases with Grasscloth wallpapered interiors
Dark stained bookcases with grass cloth papered back wall.
I also like the look of these lights over bookcases to add some customization and interest.
Grasscloth on the back wall of a bookcase
Finally, a photo with dark cabinets and grasscloth on the back wall of the cabinet!
Again, using color to punch up the back wall of bookcases.
For your Family room bookshelves: Painted or wallpapered back wall of the shelf interiors. I would prefer a picture showing Grass Cloth wallpaper inside of a stained cabinet but this is the best example that I can find that shows how you can give a punch to otherwise boring and dark stained cabinets.
Here they've just draped the back of the bed and small panels on each side... this could work
Here's a bed draped from the ceiling. Its a bit much, but something on this order. Maybe eliminate the horizontal part and let the vertical go all the way to the ceiling...
Here's an example of the bed without the curtains, but doing tall curtains on each side of the bed. I think no matter how we do it, we should drape a large portion of the wall on each side of the bed, since there is only one window on the left side and it leaves the room unbalanced.
Beams added to this angled ceiling made a huge difference to this space... wonder if we should add some flat beams to the ceiling going across the upstairs hall every ten or twelve feet??? Just a thought! That way we could get some of that Spanish architecture upstairs as well, and you could see it from the living room and the Entry Hall when you come in.
