like this texture "look" for foyer d/r wallpaper.
no bad......some detail but low profile.
would want more trim/molding, but this style might work.
this coffered ceiling looks about the right depth.
will want some detail trim under hood and framing front window.......but not blocks like this.
side-by-side window for kitchen ?
flatten out for possible front arrangement.......1 dbl hung - 2 center - 1 dbl hung ??
nice looking floor finish.
too tall, but no a bad window for our front box.....or rear living room / dining room.
nice cabinet next to f/p
no specific element to mention, but we love the clean, simple approach to the space.....like his design style.
nice treatment for our small 3rd 1/2 bath......although that will have to wait for NEXT remodel.
again, like the subdued, but slight texture-look of wallpaper for foyer/dining room.
need to find some large, appropriately styled house lamps.
possible front window style ??
nice arch doorway
hood style is a bit straighter.......but is ok.
attractive window hood.
nice fireplace, mantle, trim and adjoining cabinet.
top trim ok, but maybe a bit too busy at the top.
maybe a more plain, inside doorway panel/casing would be better than trying to squeeze in too much detail.
front window......like the wider, more detail in the moldings.
i do like this casing/narrow detailed panel on inside of doorways, but we probably don't have thick enough wall space for this.
base molding and casing.....maybe 4-1/4" would look good.
mantle and surrounding trim nice.
like the ceiling treatment, but maybe not quite so deep.
mantle is ok, but will like a trim / panel package above too.
will want to increase existing window width a bit (this might be too much). overhead trim/molding nice too. tall, double cabinet look, but using only 1 continuous cabinet is more economical, yes ?
like this (more continuous) molding trim over window more than arch treatment seen in other photos. also would want a couple inset lights.
would like 3-1/4" wrapped casing on several doorways and 4-1/4" base molding.
like a light, but not necessarily white cabinet finish. probably will select medium to dark hardwood floors.
we definitely like drawers on bottom cabinets vs. doors wherever they make sense.
1) is there room to left of sink for angled cabinet counter top to ceiling ??......it might eat up too much counter space to right of planned cooktop 2) we definitely need to need to figure out this (right) end cabinet type / orientation. Would like a more "furniture" look. on angle or flush ??
ok cabinet style and end panel detail. don't need any cutout on back wall.........all flush probably.
like this cofered ceiling treatment for 11' x 14' living room or larger 18' x 18' family room, but maybe not quite this deep.
don't like the tiny drawers.
i suspect we may have 1......maybe 2......"dead spaces" in lower cabinets along wall with sink / dishwasher. would consider this.
acceptable, but like separate drawers too.
lower cabinet....maybe, but not upper cabinets. don't actually like it anywhere though.
would like to see this shade of granite to consider. under counter sink is probably the way we will go.....seems very clean look for our small space. not sure about the bump-out........might be useful.
any small space on back wall to work in a couple shelves for books ?
cabinet style is ok. finish nice for my bath. probably would go for off-white painted surface in kitchen.
like this type of wallpaper for foyer and dining room......gives the appearance of texture even though it may just be visual. it would be ok to have a very minor amount of actual texture (linen?), but nothing rough at all.
thinking about this floor color (walnut?), but have also seen somewhat lighter hickory with saddle finish that we though was nice.
crown nice, drawers nice.
this back wall seems nice and flush. would want double ovens mounted a bit higher and a bigger drawer below. we need to see if best to have 36" wide refrig and 30" ovens adjoining or if best with cabinets in between. we then should have another 18 - 24" of storage cabinets to the left of double ovens.
not a bad tile back splash treatment. i like it has some color, but is quite subdued. this is approx the size of wall back splash we would have based on how we think new layout would be. would want under counter lighting, but not too harsh.
cooktop / microwave venting may need to be like this even though we like a nicer hood style.
not a bad wall tile treatment, except for the dark ones. plus, if we do a somewhat light, patterned counter top, the wall tile would need to be "quiet" so as not to conflict with counter.
like this style of glass/stainless hood, but will there be enough room....and, if we can do this, where do we find room for microwave.
current thought is large, 1 bowl, under counter mounted sink. also slightly rounded inner corners on counter top.
will want detailed end panels on any cabinet ends such as those facing the family room, kitchen window and doorways.
cabinets and finish too bland, but we do want our back wall (with refrig and double ovens) to be as flush as possible. will also need to figure out when to locate microwave....on this wall or over cooktop
would want top of refrig. and top of oven to line up....so cabinetry above would also match heights. also want a (12" ?) drawer below ovens for / pan / baking tray storage.
