roof
too bad they had to have the posts and that they couldn't line up with the window frames. HSS sections or a silver or white colour may have made them less obtrusive
life in prison
I would have used deeper roof overhang for shade and used the slats for shadows on the outer deck only where some sun relief still needed
not sure if it is practical but very cool sink especially if there was a matching soaker tub
functional pool but he needs to raise his elbows on his recovery and kick harder (sitting too low in the water)
shower with no door and frosted coloured glass
stone backsplash
excellent entrance, split drive with sunken versus raised island. security system for courtyard. Very private. Trees outside and inside the courtyard tie the two spaces together
I like the idea of an interior stone or concrete wall. I think I would have kept it very smooth rather than using plank forms for the wood look.
the break in the concrete foundation and extending the cladding, integrates the 2 floors. nice lighting and large cantilevered roofs
bench in shower. recessed shelves could be better designed to be self draining. heated floors? window seems a bit large or is it needed at all. slightly wider and perhaps the doors could have been eliminated
large white space screaming out for something more interesting
dining room fixture
I like the idea of breaking up the monolithic slab around the pool. Not grass though, perhaps tile or stone insets.
The asymmetry of the front entrance adds interest.
door frame of brushed chrome or SS
nice floor
shadows and glass entrance. View through the house leading up to the front door
what is the material used in the white panels around the entrance
I like the bump out for light but I would have gone with 1/2 walls and 1/2 glass and a built in table and booth
I'd rather have more storage than a waterfall island
small but efficient looking pantry. Green backboard adds some interest and could be used to match a kitchen or house accent. A frosted glass door even 3/4 door would allow light and not completely cut off from the rest of the kitchen
two contrasting countertops defines the different uses much better than if it was monochromatic
price is US but includes balls, cues etc and shipping and installation (likely extra fee for vernon
the wall along the garage could be across the entrance leading to a courtyard with the glass entrance from the courtyard
seems too busy. nice air vent diffusers in ceiling
nicely integrated outside BBQ with cover, water and lights but unattractive stone counter
double island
at least this lighting is somewhat indirect
stair lighting should be across the steps not in the direction of climbing
Must have handrail on exterior stairs
handrail on exterior stairs is a must
colour difference adds contrast and could be used to avoid brightness of large concrete areas in direct sun or to blend the concrete into the landscape
nice way to integrate seating area into steps
the recess with shadow line breaks the bulk of the concrete into slabs
all glass front door
dramatic lighting
secure entrance into a courtyard
interior brick wall, stone would be a better option
wrap around stairs and large light well
like the proportions and colours
roof and frame seem too light. Lacking substance, weight
floating vanity, full mirror, lighting from above could be a problem
